If you really want a derecho (as do I, but you know how severe weather is here in the Wolverine State), then I wish you the best of luck in it holding together until it gets past the ATL

Where I am we had hail to the size of half dollars, 60+ mph wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning (several trees were struck), torrential rains and flooding. We actually were without power for a couple of hours. About 10 minutes to the north there was a funnel cloud spotted. The NWS is going to send a team up here tomorrow to determine if the funnel actually touched down.Yeah, that certainly sounds interesting to me!
Scary for sure. But its the kind of weather I live for.
I can actually see your area to the right of the TWC Logo on my sat/rad, Gary, and that did look like a nasty line. Fast moving too!
