I'm in such a good mood today because I'm going to be moving back to New Orleans to attend the university of Tulane. I'm sure not many of you knew that I even moved to Houston recently, but I was sooo homesick there and I'm so proud to move back to my hometown.Congrats Christina! Hope it goes well for you
I actally don't mind the humidity, as I am rather used to it, being situated in between the Great Lakes. The excessive humidity here is most likely we have not hit 100 since 1988Ack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It's 80 degrees, with a Dewpoint of 70!!!!! This is the most "Summer-like" day we've seen this year. Severe Thunderstorms definitely in the works. One thing I hate about the summer.... The humidity!!
I have important computer equipment - I can't afford to have it work improperly or get ruined by the humidity.
Just got back from the eye doctor... Fun stuff Eyes are dilated big time
I actually like it. It means less spontaneous narration. I don't feel it is necessary to show the radar if there is nothing on it, so long as they make sure to show the sat/rad product.I noticed the one minute flavors only show two cycles of the local radar, just like before September 2004!
The ones during :08 and :38 during DP don't even show the radar, I don't like that.
Did you catch the crawl? Do the words "Particularly Dangerous Situation" appear in the crawl or on the bulletins page? I have wanted to see a PDS for some time now.Ack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It's 80 degrees, with a Dewpoint of 70!!!!! This is the most "Summer-like" day we've seen this year. Severe Thunderstorms definitely in the works.

That's nothing, try 89° a dewpoint of 74° and a heat index of 97°! It wasn't supposed to be any severe weather here today, but apparently I'm under a PDS Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
I love sushi! There's a chain here called Wegman's that makes good sushi, but I'm sure nothing beats homemade sushi (as does pretty much anything else).Well, I am expected to hit the mid-80's tomorrow and again from Monday on next week, so hang in there, a ridge with warm air is coming
It feels a lot like April here today. We're barely expected to go up to 70° today because of this rain. Yesterday we only got up to 69°. We should be in the low 80's this time of year.
I just talked to my dad about it, and he said that there was a seperate ad crawl and the Local weather ID shown was 22842. I would like the almanac to say more than just "Lansing", but I have a feeling though that the STAR team will not respond to my postings on TWC ClassicsWell, I will upload a video momentarily of how it looks here in Lansing. My theory is that several units around the area consolidated into one- mine. I am going to my dad's place over there in Haslett to see if this is indeed the case. Most of the time, when you mention your Star to the Star Team about requests, they make other tweaks to the system too. It doesn't necessarily mean there was a headend expansion.
When did the station IDs disappear? They had been gone all day, on both the E.L. and Lansing units. I noticed that the station ID returned as of 4:57 PM EDT.
We would of gotten out Monday, but two snows days (January 28 and March 2) pushed the last day back.Wow, we are allowed 3 here in Lansing.
School is finally out!Congratulations! Great feeling isn't it?
