Well, I notice the forecast title here in the E.L. was changed. They took the "Area" part of the name off, so instead of "East Lansing Area" it just says "East Lansing". Odd, and I just now noticed it as of the last LF.

Crap. Maybe it's a weekend thing.
Correct.
Yesterday was the first day when, from 10 AM EDT to 2 PM EDT, there was the normal alternation between 90 second and 2 minute flavors on the weekend. Up through yesterday, the fact that it was weekend day did not matter.

just a big blank screen with no ldl and no video, Aaron did it take 3 days to come back on the E.L Star?

If so it's bad timing and i guess no LOT'48's for me :(
I believe it took somewhere between 36 and 48 hours, but I am not 100% positive. I noticed the video feed went out right in the middle of the 3:29 PM EDT LF on 5/23, right as the metro map switched from the "today's forecast" product to the "tonight's forecast" product. I know it was out for 24 hours, but I went over to the thumb on the 24th, and then up to Houghton Lake that same evening. I came back on Memorial Day and the 1:38 PM EDT LF was fine.

my twc feed just got knocked out since the local radar at 8:38am edt has this happened to anyone else?

Only the audio is working and Local ad inserts are working

Main TWC video feed is down on my star + local forecast
This exact same problem happened with the E.L. STAR back on Memorial Day. It may take a couple of days for video feed to get restored, so be sure to notify the STAR team about it. The Intellistar here in Lansing is working properly.

Odd, I see TWC is still showing the First Day Of Summer Intro and the Stay Tuned sponsor segments, even the day after. Are they waiting until the First Day is "technically" over at 1:46 AM EDT?
For those on the west coast it's still not over. ;)

Plus, TWC's broadcasting day begins/ends at 4am et.
Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know

That was weird; just now they showed a Local Forecast sponsor graphic prior to the forecast saying that the LF was sponsored by Foster Grant, but the Canon logo ended up displaying during the LF.
Wow, looking over my clip of it, I see that. Odd

Oh, and one last thing. I upgraded to Windows Vista today! So far so good. I like what I see. I'm hopeful that no problems will crop up.
So long as you upgraded to the latest upgrade of Vista, you should be fine.
I know that when I bought my desktop new in 2007 that there were oodles and oodles of problems with it, but that was 7 months after Vista rolled out.

Ana, why did you replace Springy's quote in your signature?

Did you like that quote? If you want I can put it back.
Yes, I really liked that quote

TWC must've discontinued the 1 min product playlists. The normal 2 min lfs on :08 and :38 and 1:30 flavours at :18 and :48 are back.
IMO, I think all LFs should be 2 minutes. There is not enough time to show much of anything during the one minute flavor, and 1:30 is pointless as well.

But yes, I am wondering why I didn't see any one minutes. I see that the line-up changes (i.e. LF opening to metro map at :18 and :48) are still ongoing.

You know, I keep wondering how these changes would look with the sun background Intellistar? Would the 8 city guesses segment transition in from the right as the LF opens? Would the bulletins page transtion in from the right as the LF opens, or would it just fade in?

It does if you come to Duck Centro.
Question: Do you live in El Centro or Duck Centro? I looked up Duck Centro on wikipedia and there was no such article. But sometimes you say El Centro too.
Ana, allow me to take this one:
There is a big duck pond in El Centro, CA, which means that there are a lot of ducks in El Centro, which is why Ana refers to itas 'Duck' Centro. Am I right Ana?

Speaking of the First Day Of Summer, when I first thought we here in Lansing would not hit 90 this year (let alone 100 which I so desperately want- Ana send it my way!  :bleh: ), here we go:
