The Game Room / Re: Name the next closest city
« on: June 24, 2009, 06:59:56 PM »
Lemme refresh everyone on the rules. (yes, I can do that because I created it :bleh:)

  • Name a small town
  • The guess to the named town has to the next closest metropolitan city

And by the looks of it, Flushing, MI was closest to Detroit.
The answer is Fint, which AFAIK, IS a metropolitan area.

Hi Aaron,

The July playlist is not yet finalized, but feel free to check back in a few days.  To submit music, you are welcome to send a song, in compact disc format, to Local Forecast Music, The Weather Channel, 300 Interstate N. Pkwy, SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
and I would like to send a CD down there ASAP.

Anyone know if the video feed problem is on TWC's end or my cable provider Comcast? I can't check any of the other channels because unfortunately my cable remote is broken of all days...... <_<

Tavores, it is for sure your specific Comcast headend. Like I said in a previous post in this thread, it happened to the E.L. headend back in late May. This is bound to happen to every headend across the country at some point, we just don't know how many headends it happens to and how frequently because there are only a limited amount of us who would even know what is going on. I would suggest reporting it to the STAR team at TWC Classics. That method seems to have worked for Alejandro.
