I'm not really crazy about the idea of Windows 7. To me, Microsoft is like TWC, changing things and coming out with new versions a bit too quickly. I remember in 2007 how hard it was for me to switch to Vista, when I bought my first brand new computer in August. I have become accustomed to Vista, I would say. I've heard from a friend in the E.L. that he had a lot of trouble with Windows 7. He couldn't get his tuner to work at all. I just don't think all that stress is worth it, and like I said, VIsta works just fine for me now

Choice hotels usually have cable imp

One of the probably dozen hotels we looked through Thursday nite was a Days Inn, and they had satellite. That was probably because Ann Arbor is a sespool. Too expensive and you don't get what you pay for, in my pants.

I'll try that chain out eventually. Clarion is a Choice Hotel, and I have had good luck with Econo Lodge and Days Inn, which are also Choice Hotel Brands. So, I am not surprised, in my pants.

Nothing beats the sunny background and old icons on the XL, however.

100% agreed. 

It would be a miracle if TWC ever got around to animating the sat lf icons.

I'm glad they don't. I can't look directy at animated ones.
