Local Forecast / Re: New May 2010 Playlist
« on: June 08, 2010, 07:41:41 PM »
If it were to change today, or some other day, it will likely change during the primetime.  It seems that the primetime is the time when the new playlists debut, judging by the recent track record.
My thoughts exactly. Hopefully soon.

Anyone have any idea how I could submit a suggestion in? I would simply kill to hear "The Things We Do For Love" by 10CC :)

I'll upload pictures on Facebook. Not sure why those pics I posted here were too big.

So Grace just walked into my room and jumped up on my bed. I needed to pet her for a few minutes. Other than that and a quick 30 seconds where I pet her this morning, I haven't really seen her in three days. I got to see Mocha several times after I got home yesterday and this morning. We have to be very careful with them the next few days, and we can't pick them up while their paws are healing. They seem to be doing okay, and I haven't really noticed much of any significant personality changes. Mocha still sounds like a motorboat even from 3 feet away when she purrs, and Grace can still purr as soon as I even lay a hand on her.

Programming and Graphics / Re: "Flick > Forecast"

Well one thing I have noticed is that advertising for Flick and a Forecast has been dialed back a bit in recent weeks. More promotion for products and services (Notify and iWitness), in addition to ads that are attempts to make TWC look good. Reasoning seems obvious to me. :P

I'm sure those of you who have Time Warner remember that massive dispute they had with Viacom back around New Year's 2008. I'm sure it will boil over, just wait.

It's like Walmart... too big to fail or be replaced by something that can reach its level of success and prominence.

You were not too nervous though on camera :P
It matters, but I needed to say I didn't point that out first :P

I've tried staying up with pop, slurpees, and even several sugary snacks. Nothing works when I really am that tired. Only energy drinks do, though I needed a nap to get to bone tired during the 9:00 hour this morning.

I'm a bit skeptical of these energy drinks at the moment. The rapid heartbeat I've had much of this morning is a bit concerning to me.

Where are you now, at Acme?
Yes, actually I am

What really puzzles me the most is that this XL is even here. Don't get me wrong at all, I am 200% for seeing an XL. But take a look at how large an area both the Petoskey and Houghton Lake XL units cover. Petoskey's unit goes all the way up to Mackinaw City. Houghton Lake's unit not only serves Houghton Lake, but also West Branch and Grayling, both of which are just about 30 miles away. And I still believe there is an Intellistar in downtown Traverse City.

Well live and learn I may never sleep at a hotel again. You're probably right. But I have had one of those 5 hour energy drinks before, but during the day. Gave me an energy rush as I headed over to football practice for about an hour.

So this is Charter's new logo, with what is apparently their new slogan. Not the best, but then again, they do have a slogan.
