I discovered that archived imagery was added. I cried when I saw my old neighborhood back in the 90's.Wow neat! Can you see archived results on Google Earth for your area too?
Here are some screenshots of the progression over the years (I've added a small red dot where my old house was located, and added arrows to the old farm house and the backhoe that destroyed the farm house there)

The archived data in Google Earth is one of my favorite features in Google Earth.Same here, at least now. I always liked Bing Maps 3D better since the imagery for my area is in a higher resolution and is much more recent than is the case with Google Earth, but now I am really warming up to Google Earth.
