Local Forecast / Re: Trammell Sightings

Well, I'll be catching some of it. I had already shut off my tuner since the song that aired on the 10:58 LF was one I caught at 10:28. Why does this stuff happen so often when I am not in the position to record it?

I just love how things happen when I don't have the means of recording them. Perfect did not play once last evening, and it just aired at 8:18 this morning. I only caught about a minute of it, since I don't record many 90 second local forecasts and thus did not have the tuner window open.

Freddie Freeloader aired 20 times last evening, no joke

Mike, you stole the words right out of my mouth. I rated it a two as well.

All you have to do is add it in next to your STAR type. I do.

Wow, Dave Koz made an appearance on that last episode of Family Matters (and yes, he played some music).

I have watched part of this show over the past few days, and I must say it sickens me.  VERY little weather..TOO much Al and entertainment  :hmm:
Yeah, I don't watch it much at all either. Once I noticed Family Matters was added to the lineup on Nick at Nite at 6 AM ET, I started watching that. I only watch TWC during WUWA for the local forecasts. I honestly like the idea of vocal music during the local forecast, but most of the daily playlists lately have been snooze-fests.

I am so glad I made the switch to contacts back in 8th grade (early 2007). I hated wearing glasses for a number of reasons. Very few people at my school are wearing glasses (I'm not sure many are wearing contacts that I know of either, but I do have vision issues :P ). Glasses kept slipping down my face, there was the issue of constantly taking them off and putting them back on, and also dropping them. I also have exceptional use of peripheral vision, and glasses don't usually support that. I personally just don't like the look of glasses to be honest.

Charter has channels all over the place up here. TV Guide is on channel 4, Nick is on channel 23, TV Land on channel 56, and TWC on channel 95. Odd though, since the station ID says that TWC is on channel 26. Charter must have moved things around.

Well I've seen the drizzle and fog icon many a time before, but notice how the icon I'm pointing out has the rain drops totally obscured. I'm used to  the drizzle and fog icon being just a fog cloud with three un-obscured rows of rain drops below it.

Also, why is it that most XL's have the main observation site also on the 8 city? There were some very nasty storms that went through TC and Petoskey last night, and the only reporting site on this XL's 8 city that is in the lower peninsula is Pellston. And that was on the north edge of the line of storms that moved through that area. As far as I've known, the thumb's XL is the only XL I've seen (in person) where the main CC site is not also on the 8 city.

Well shifting back to the subject of rarely seen icons for a moment, has anyone seen the one for Sawyer there? I've seen the drizzle/fog icon many times, but this one looks new for some reason

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! I had a great day. I got to have my first TV appearance, and we had some ice cream cake... in like, the first time that double digits have defined my age :P
did u go anywhere or throw a party?
Sorry I haven't replied, Charter internet has been a bit screwy here. No, didn't go anywhere yesterday. Just had my first on camera appearance, and my family and I shared some delicious ice cream cake. I haven't had ice cream cake since there have been two digits defining my age :P

It would be nice to see just the labels and the colors on the weekly planner, not all the countless rain drops and lightning flashes on the map.

I wish I had Heart of Gold by Yvonne Ayers
I HATE that song. As far as I know, I only have one recording of it.

I always wear a hoodie outside but I never noticed or cared that it was a fashion trend.
It's not here. In fact, I seem to be the "defier" of trends if you will. As soon as I start following it, it fades :P
Some people wear hoodies, some don't. Not a trend either way in Haslett.

Has anyone seen the new Sun/Fog icon?

Yeah, I have. Really nothing special. The size of the font in relation to the icon makes it look like it's screaming at me.

Also, odd to hear "Locomotion" by James Brown at 6:18 PM EDT...
