"Perfect (Nellee Hooper Remix)" by The Smashing Pumpkins is rated "explicit" on iTunes...
That's because there's a vocal version of that song which contains explicit lyrics. I guess they just forgot to remove that warning on the instrumental version. btw, I thought you hated buyiing from itunes
I do. Problem is, where else am I going to download Ryan Farish's music?

Well I'm having a hard time deciding how to spend the rest of my $14... not sure what songs I really like.

Just bought "Truth, Simplicity, and Love" by Soulstance. Oh and by the way, "Perfect (Nellee Hooper Remix)" by The Smashing Pumpkins is rated "explicit" on iTunes...

Just made my first online purchase :P
I bought Ryan Farish's Bloom album.

Some law shows are better than others. Cold Case and SVU were examples.

One time last weekend, all the O's were missing on my metro map.
I've seen many cases where letters are missing or partially missing (take for example Grand Led_e and East Lansin_ on my 8 city last January)... but the metro and regional maps I have not seen it on.

You all know me, I am a huge fan of Cold Case. I love how well the show is put together, and I think the characters work very well together. It's a shame the show is getting cancelled, though I never watch CBS, so I never got to see the new shows. Apparently TNT only has licensing to syndicate up through the 2008 season... since they showed episodes from that season ans rotated back to the 2003 season.

I was not at all surprised Law and Order was cancelled. The show had become a shadow of its former self. I thought the show lost some of its character when Jerry Orbach, who played Det. Lenny Briscoe. The cast was really not working well together at the time of cancellation, and I don't believe the cast was all that great. Sam Waterston, who played Jack McCoy, sure got old, fast. I loved the ending episode though.

Love my background... A Lake in the Manistee National Forest in Northern Michigan (The only place i'd live is Northern Michigan... screw Lansing  )
You've stolen the words right out of my mouth. Northern Michigan is very scenic, serene, and peaceful. On top of that, it's XL and Charter territory. It's a win-win! :P

And this is actually a real machine, not a virtual machine.
As primitive as Windows 98 is to many now, I always loved the Windows 98 startup sound. And for some reason, I love the older, classic look. Just takes me back. Problem is, Windows 98 does not do well with pages that require excessive usage of flash (i.e. youtube... weather.com  :whistling: ).

My desktop, which has an Athlon processor, works fine for the most part with my tuner, especially seeing how it's five years old and only a solo processor. When this one dies I'll probably look at one that's more suited for professional video use since I'd probably need one for my future plans.
Well from what you've told me, you don't record TWC much at all anymore, and probably don't have your tuner open that often. You also have to realize how I am with my computers. I absolutely hate missing anything (meaning, songs I like when I'm in a new location, or an error). So thus, I'm not able to give my laptop too many breaks or much of one when I'm in a hotel. I like to multi-task with everything... computers included. Sometimes when I've got my tuner open, I'll have AIM open chatting, or I'll be using the internet while listening to a video, etc. You get the picture.

Really? All I heard was the Little Women theme. I only heard Magnificent once at 10:38am
I don't remember how often Magnificent aired, but it was at least 4 or 5 times. I saved a clip of it from 7:58. This Day Was Coming aired about a dozen times.

Well the problem is, I have dropped it too many times and have used it well beyond its capabilities far too much. When I was in the market for my desktop, and the same with my laptop, the one thing I didn't care about was the processor. I now regret that. From what I have seen, AMD Athlon processors are horrible.

I bought my laptop on my 16th birthday, so the HP 1 year warranty expired on Thursday. I knew I was smart in buying a 2 year warranty through Staples.

That darn music randomizer did not cooperate with me last night. I mean, really? 20 times that Freddie Freeloader aired last evening and into the overnight. The James Brown song and Magnificent were the two main songs that aired during the morning this morning.

Well, connecting to Jonathan's story, something happened with either my tuner or my laptop today. The tuner window won't even open now, and I think one of the files might have been screwed up. I'm starting to give some mind to just buying a new laptop, with a much faster processor. I never bothered to look at processors when I had bought both my desktop and m laptop in the past, which may have been the underlying cause to some of the issues I have had.
Aaron, I don't know if you're talking about your Pinnacle, HP, or Hauppauge tuner, but if it's the Pinnacle, those can tend to be screwy at times, mine has foiled me, but a simple rewrite to the drivers helped it. :hmm:
Oh no, I could not ask for a better TV tuner than the internal Pinnacle card I use in my desktop. Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's the Hauppauge one I use on my laptop. But the thing is, I strongly believe it's the laptop that is the issue.

Also, why is it that most XL's have the main observation site also on the 8 city?
All STARs are like this, including even a few intellistars (though it was a lot more common before HiRAD). In your case, it's  likely either because 1) there aren't enough airports in the area or 2) in case you missed the data on the first CC page.
A shortage of observation sites is far from an issue up here. Surprisingly, there are a lot of airports in the northland. For example, Traverse City, Cadillac, Bellaire (between TC and Petoskey), Petoskey, Charlevoix, Gaylord, Pellston, Cheboygan, Beaver Island, Mackinac Island, Chippewa Arpt (halfway between the bridge and the soo), Sault Ste Marie municipal, Newberry, Manistique, Marquette, Escanaba... just to name a few.
