Banned because he used to refresh his videos all the time just to make the views high.

Well speaking of power outages, I'm being warned about that possibility tonite. I'm seeing my first icing event, albeit lite, in quite some time. Much of the freezing rain is to my west, but it will be coming through tonite. Currently under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion

I'm pretty sure the OA/SD forecast was discontinued from regular usage on all the STARs. I haven't seen it on mine since like October.
My IntelliStar still shows the School Day/Outdoor Activity Forecast on a regular basis.
Yeah, I am still seeing them on mine as well. What's more, I don't recall seeing the daypart forecast at all in Marquette

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion

Wow, yet another STAR I have found that does not have the AQ forecast product available. What's interesting to me is that this unit doesn't seem to be displaying any of the outdoor activity/schoolday forecast products either... yet this STAR is not at all acting like the one I found in Port Huron. In Port Huron, the 8 city appeared on nearly every 90 second and 2 minute LF.

:P

I used NT (which is basically 3.1) on a very old laptop (from the 80's) that a friend of mine found a couple years back, and wow it was primitive. I like the graphics, since apparently TWC's HD graphics have driven me to like primitive things :P

No, it's so hard a lawyer could not figure it out :P

Did I get a Winter Weather Advisory, both here in Marquette and down in Lansing?

TWC Today News / Re: Long Downtime
« on: December 23, 2009, 04:03:50 PM »
Oops, already posted in the site news topic. Anyways, glad to see the forums are back. It was frustrating the forums were down for so long, but I don't blame you Martin, and I commend you on doing whatever possible to get the site back as quickly as possible. I do hope you can check on the attachments issues both on the forums and in the individual video sites. When I try to redownload a file, I don't get the whole file, and it seems corrupted. Whenever I try to upload a video to the forums, it tells me that IE can't display the webpage. I tried this on multiple computers and connections, and still had the same issue. Not a huge concern, and I understand you have a lot more that is much higher of a priority. But please try to look into these issues when you can

General Weather Chat / Re: White Christmas?
« on: December 23, 2009, 03:51:58 PM »
I'm very diappointed.  I thought this would be the year I finally got to experience a white Christmas, but as always this stupid storm had to go WAAAY north and screw us over like the past 3 storms has done this month for us, this time last week the models had a lot of the SE getting almost a foot of snow Christmas, I should have known that was too good to be true. :(
lol, with the way this winter has been going for me, I was thinking it would be too good to be true for me as well. I knew we would be looking at a green Christmas before the month of December even started. We're looking at some ice, but no snow until late in the day, and I doubt there will be any appreciable accumulations

Well, I'm in a new location today, but my laptop did not get back to the house until 3 hours after I left  :pinch:

Had to take my desktop with me, ugh

I would like to do it tonite, but I know that's too soon, lol.

Just checking in from the UP, in the NE tip. This is now the furthest north I have ever been, since I've never been more than a mile into the UP. Glad to see the site is back, and wish me luck on the way through the UP this afternoon!
