I'm not a very big fan of Conan. I just don't find him very funny. I like Leno much more.
Yeah, I'm with you there. I watched one of Conan's shows in '08, and he is really sort of awkward. Haven't watched either in a while though, lol :P

Are the WUWA-specific music playlists gone?
It sure seems that way, and I seemed to confirm it when I heard Chris Geith's "Northeast Winter" at 6:49 AM EST. However, while it could just be a coincidence, I found it odd that if this really is the case, that I also heard that same song at 10:49...

As depressing as it is (all of Mark Krurnowski's music is, just about), I think I like "Turning Pages" on the daytime list

I'm getting a little tired of hearing about this. I understand what Chesley Sullenberger did for his crew, and that was an incredibly admirable action. But really? The commemorating of this for so long (the interviews, awards, etc, months after the fact) is a bit excessive.

Hmm.. I don't know why, but last night I had a dream that Stephanie Abrams was giving her last forecast on Your Weather Today (as in..either leaving TWC, or moving to a new show..) .   Is that weird?  haha
lol, I wish that would happen :P

How come you hate Stephanie so much?  :hmm:
Yeah, that's what I want to know... I've always loved Stephanie's spontaneous humor and personality

Yeah, for all intents and purposes, I am going to assume it is the Bill McDermott song.

I agree with you guys... not crazy about this list at all. Granted, as is the case with most any playlist, there are a few songs I like.

I am completely stumped on this one...
Lansing Intellistar- 1/12/10 1:58 PM EST

I've narrowed it down to 2 songs, I think. Anyone have any ideas what it is? I first thought it was Pink Floyd, then when I realized they are not on this playlist, I thought it was Jim Lum.|

Cookies... brownies usually make me sick quite quickly

"Two Masters, One Muse" or "Freeze" by Gooding?

Absolutely horrible playlist, hands down. I do like to see Santana's version of Europa back... I was quite surprised when I first heard it this morning. Now if only TWC could repeat many more songs from the XL era and Intellistar's golden daze, I would be far more satisfied with the playlists. Also nice to hear Jung at Heart back... even though I was one of the few that caught clips of it.

Seriously, what is this... a tribute to June? Time is Tight; Two Masters, One Muse; Crimea II. Not crazy about Sam Spence back either  :footinmouth:

Ah well, enough of my ranting :bleh:

Thanks, Mike
I was hoping to see how that played into the local forecast, apparently it looked like a :29.

I would not be surprised...

What I don't get is why they can't repeat older songs. Two Masters, One Muse? Come on, that played in June. If you're going to repeat their music, why not re-air "Freeze"? A song with the word "Sunshine" airing during the week ahead, and the time-in cutting off another vocal phrase is not a song that should air on the LF.

I was about to say because it's been a while since I heard anything like that.
That kind of music doesn't really fit LOT8's like that in my opinion.
Agreed

Sounds a lot like Beethoven, or some sort of symphony orchestra.
