Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Re: Website Errors and Problems

Does TWC Today support Google Chrome? The TV Media teacher recommended using Google Chrome, and I've been giving it a try the past 24 hours or so. When I hold down alt and press "s" to submit a post, I get a ding on my computer, as if I pressed an incorrect key. However, alt-p, to preview the posts, works fine.
Not sure if every shortcut or whatnot is supported but the forum and site work just fine with it. I have been using Chrome for months now
It's incredibly annoying, as I always type alt-s when posting. Is there anything that can be looked into?

It's too bad you don't have a local STAR to get clips of during that event... I know I would go crazy if it were to happen here. I still haven't had a Tornado Warning since I got my tuner back in September 2008.
I wish I could record blizzard warning clips on my Intellistar..but it sucks that the DTV LF doesn't support winter weather alert bulletins.
Well at least I have a camera clip of a Tornado Warning... I would go berserk if I were to get a Blizzard Warning and had no way to record it. I would find a way.

Also, I see I got the new Facebook layout  :pinch:

Local Forecast / Re: January 2010 Playlist

Any ideas on when the January playlist will come to a close, or will the current one continue all the way through February?
Judging how long the November list lasted, I for sure expect this playlist to go through at least the end of February... and I would not one bit be surprised if this list goes a week or two into March. I miss the old daze when we actually had monthly playlists  :cry3:

Aaron--what exactly do you learn in your TV Media issues?
Right now, as it is only the first week in the class, we are learning about media and how it affects our lives. We're also discussing how technology has advanced, and how it could advance further. This class is the prerequisite for the advanced class, which is what people of Haslett and the E.L. see on TV. So later on, we'll be making videos with a software called Final Cut Pro (Apple's version of WMM, which is far better). It's pretty interesting, imo

As much as I love shoveling snow, I absolutely hate shoveling wet snows less than 2 inches. They get packed down, and it's a hassle to get the snow shoveled up.

Also, I'm glad I'm in the TV Media Issues class at my school. They put out some pretty funny stuff!

I love the beginning there :P

It is not snowing, and I don't need to shovel

I no longer find it ironic that 22840 is located on Miller Road on the south side :P

Only slightly below season-to-date norms at the airport, with 20.8" of snow so far... but no big storms yet. So far this winter is even worse than the 06-07 El Nino winter. Why am I not surprised?
