I was planning on adding animations but my time was limited... I will be working on some other stuff, but I will not be releasing any new "concept STAR" videos until November/December. I will be working on a Christmas special, that'll likely be my main target. Until then, you all may submit some ideas to me.

Banned for having Charter like me and having a STAR ID 20,356 lower than mine.

Banned for taking the time to calculate the STAR ID lesser amount and not reading my post in other forums stating that I am no longer a subscriber to any "named" company.

Saw an LF at 8:08AM PT. Looks like everything is back to normal

Everything is now back in working and correct order. Welcome back, longform.

As of 7:08am CT, L-Bar only, no LF...
Too bad I still have an XL, this is just making me mad now. I want to see the freaking STAR run for once.

You all need to think about this whole situation from a ratings point of view:  When there is boring weather, the long-form shows are more interesting to average people and draw better viewership than live weather coverage

True, but I think many complain over Long-form because of the fact that it airs when there is a severe weather event occurring. If I am not mistaken, several wind gusts near hurricane force and several tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma for over 6hrs one night and all that was done was a quick update before going back to LFP.

Now that I think about it... since they haven't been airing an actual LF during the event but one every 30min the other day... is Storm Alert music discontinued?

I have my own Local on the Eights at the house with my weather station... it just doesn't have radar (but I sure wish it did  :cry3: )... I keep TWC on mainly for background sound now - when I'm not watching other news.

Oh, hasn't anyone thought of the idea that 24hr live weather was cut for longform *cough*bs*cough* because NBC didn't want to pay the OCM's to be on 24hr/day? I bet they're pissed now if that is the case...

Austin and Trevor, there are lots of fault line maps online.  Here's one map of the world's fault lines:
http://www.theworldmapsphotos.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Map-Of-World-Fault-Lines.jpg

Also, USGS has an interactive United States map where all earthquakes greater than 6.0 occurred in the last 1.6 million years:
http://geohazards.usgs.gov/qfaults/map.php

The reality is that no one lives far away from a fault line even in the eastern United States.

I wish there were a map that based years on Creation, not evolutionary thoughts or opinions. Thanks for sharing the maps, though!
