Guess who got his first driving... lesson today?

You know who.

I know - welcome to hell.
Yay!!! I still love driving. The thrill of it hasn't warn off yet except for those nasty traffic jams. Hopefully that isn't too bad for your area. It seems a lot harder at first then it really is. You catch on quick!

I live in a primarily rural/small urban city area, the only time I would really run into crud is being in Dothan which I have promised myself I will not go near unless it is after 9am but not during 11am-1pm and after 5pm with the exception of after 7pm. Jeeze, thinking about it makes me paranoid.

I've only got about 51 weeks before I can take my permit test  lol

Well that sucks. I knew this **** was permanent.

Though I am in agreeance that it sucks, there isn't anything we can do over it except complain. I call no more complaints. Who's with me?

Congratulations, wxmediafan! I'm doing the same thing, working the Wednesday shifts for our weather show. We have a green screen, the cameras, the lights, the graphics, the soundboard, and everything else. And we have a team of 2 (which is what I'm on) making the on-show graphics on TruVu. I'm slowly getting better at working with WSI, but it's not an easy program to learn.

I learned a bit about using WSI the day I visited WTVY. Interesting and awesome system.

True, but I still don't understand why the teacher had to be unfair and give only me a demerit, and not her... Better than hearing her explain everything

Home from school. The same girl that always cheats was talking in the middle of the lesson about "Teen Mom," and why she likes it. Guess who gets a demerit for asking her to stop? None other than...

ME!

Agreed. Most common vehicle/method for cheating.

In my classroom, everyone but me and two others cheat. They'll blatantly ask for answers really loud and make it out like we asked them. We always get in trouble. I gave up a long, long time ago trying to get good grades because of their bullcrap.

I was buried alive for my birthday and drowned in the ocean that very evening.

Here's an idea.

The Weather Channel - LIVE, 24HR WEATHER COVERAGE with LOT8s.
Reality Weather - Long-form programming and LBar for Nat'l, no local.

Last year, one girl kept yacking so we got all of our bathroom privileges taken away.

It's one thing when everyone gets punished because no one knows who the culprit is, but it's an entirely other deal (and completely unfair) when everyone gets punished when the culprit IS known.  Totally unfair and, in my opinion as a former teacher, totally uncalled for.

Do as the Marines do, RED ALERT - beat the holy living crap outta the one causing others to lose everything for no reason.

EDIT: This is a perfect example of over-reaction to a Twitter post.  :hammer: Reports confirmed this was NOT a hijacking, but a regular old squawk code.

Oi. Aside from that, seeing the original post, I would wanna know who'd be pissed with Paris to hijack a plane heading that way.

School and discipline aside, I have fixed my warning feed on my Twitter and set up my room with fall decorations! Thank God I got the potpourri, it masked the grass smell in my fake moss which looks like I have weed all over my desk.

« on: September 26, 2011, 08:12:47 AM »
Has TWCT seen any spam recently? I know I had to go into cPanel and ban the IP's that kept accessing on SMF 1.1.14, and the same with SMF 2.0. I've put in several filters and required user activation after the SMF *2.0.1 update and haven't seen anything but one - the same member - attempting to access my site. I closed my other boards on PHPBB, etc. due to ridiculous amounts of spam.

TWC's new ID bumper is up. Will get a video soon (and won't include LF) from the next :57.

Also, I've got a song I need to be ID'd from 8:28pm last night.
That sound is my chair. I haven't oiled it in about a half-year.

You might need iTunes to listen, I don't know about .m4a files, all I do know is it was "Sent from my iPod."

I wouldn't want to attend all of your schools... jheez...

Well Jesse, surely you had some form of disciplinary action at your school...

Jesse and I attended schools.  The rest of you... well, "prison" seems too inadequate a word.  Are you allowed to sneeze without getting written up for it?!

It was during study hall and someone had stirred up some dust and I started sneezing like crazy. I hear out of my ear, "AUSTIN! THREE DEMERITS!"  :dunno:
