Thanks for posting the clip! Wow she is lucky to have gotten to stay in the Atlanta area. It is nice to see her back on. Is it just me or does she look a little different? More makeup?

No,you're not alone,I noticed that she looked different as well. Couldn't figure out what it was,though.

Oh, that's good. I get suspicious now when OCMs disappear for an extended period of time.

Same. I really hadn't noticed that she hadn't been on for a while until I read this, but now that I have I realized it. Glad to hear she hasn't gotten the boot as well.

Since Kelly has 2-3 children, will the late night shift be hindersome for her and family? I would think late morning and early afternoon shifts are best for family life.  I doubt if anyone chooses their shifts anymore as maybe then did in the good old days.

Not necessarily. My mom works night shifts (5pm and later) and my family is fine. Sometimes it's a lot easier on my mom to work the night shifts,because she can be there for me during the day,even if I'm in school,in case something were to happen,and on the days I have off,we can actually get out and do something and I don't get stuck home all day every day. That happened a few summers ago,she worked during the day,all day Mon-Fri and I was constantly stuck in the house bored because I had nothing to do and couldn't go anywhere. So night shifts can sometimes be a positive thing for families.

That doesn't mean anything at all. They rarely update the bio pages on weather.com. There have been instanced where OCMs have left and their bio pages were still on the server months later.

Oh I know that. I was just posting as a general comment,since I've seen some OCM's bios disappear sooner than others.

I can tell you... it hasn't been the same since Crystal fully took over to be honest.

Since Alex left, it will never be the same again at all.
Even with Jim there, it's just terrible now.

I agree..to be honest,I haven't watched TWC since Alex was laid off. Its just not the same.

  this crap,I knew there was a reason I haven't been watching TWC much anymore. They really aren't what they used to be. Alexandra Steele was my favorite OCM. I remember the days of staying up half the night watching her on Evening Edition. She will be deeply missed.

Bye,TWC! I will now watch my local news and go online for my weather reports. 

Hey man, I know how you feel because she was my favorite OCM as well. I remember watching her on Evening Edition and back in the older days on YWT as a morning meteorologist. And, it's goodbye TWC for me as well. The only thing that I will watch is the music and that's it. NOTHING ELSE!!!!!

Yeah I'm only watching it for the local on the 8s now..I've been watching my local news a lot more in the last year or so,but I've still been watching Weather Center to watch Alexandra. But that all just ended. I will only watch TWC for my local on the 8s info that I can't get on the internet or by local news. Before you know it,people like Heather Tesch,Jen Carfagno,Kelly Cass,and Adam Berg will be laid off. Why?!? Because the newbies come in and take over. Congrats,TWC! You've screwed up the network!
