102.7 WEQX still plays Sublime - "What I Got" quite a bit. And when I lived in Tampa, I used to hear Candy Dulfer's "Lily Was Here" quite a bit on 98.7 WSJT, back when they were still playing a Smooth Jazz format.

Is places like Albany, NY reporting snow accumulations? Going by the radar it's been snowing in Upstate NY for a while now.

I just searched the NWS website for this, as I live about an hour away from Albany. Looks like they've gotten about 2 inches so far as of now.

Snowing pretty hard right now here. Already 3, maybe 4" on the ground.

I haven't seen anything like this this early since the October 4 blizzard back in 1987. I was 7 years old back then, and I remember trees & power lines snapping, as well as the roads in the area turning into skating rinks.

I get it. Comcast carries it here, which at first I wasn't expecting. It's on channel 782 in their channel lineup here.

Well, not realizing at first that the intro video I used the last time I was here was TWCZach's (I got the intro video in an emulator package for the Intellistar 2 I believe on this board), I've decided to start a new thread to post my emulations. If the mods would rather have me use the old thread, that's OK though. I actually found out that the intro video I used was Zach's only about a few weeks ago when I saw it on YouTube, but oh well. I'll just ask next time before I use anything of his, and of course I'll credit him.

Anyhow, here is a recent Weatherstar 4000 emulation I did for the upcoming Nor'easter heading my way this weekend:

83 degrees under fair skies right now. Chance of strong thunderstorms rolling in on Monday, and from Wednesday to Friday, much warmer and more humid conditions are on tap with highs expected near 90.

Started off pretty warm and muggy this morning, I think our low for the day is 75. It should reach the mid-80s this afternoon with a chance of isolated thunderstorms later.

Right now very warm and muggy this evening. More hot, humid weather is on tap for tomorrow where temps could get near 90 in the day, and there could be some scattered thunderstorms late tonight and early tomorrow morning.
