Just out of curiosity, Mike, what lead you to this assumption? I actually think it's a very interesting thought. I mean, with all these abbreviations for channels, now, I guess this wouldn't be too far from the norm. Just hope people would know what it stands for and wouldn't get it confused with Time Warner Cable or anything like that.
And I'll just be honest, I think TWC has the potential to do a complete facelift, with a new logo and everything, but that is probably taking it too far. "Completely new experience" could be just a new WeatherSTAR, or it really could be a completely new experience. We'll just have to wait and see. Though TWC hasn't unveiled some of the greatest things in the past few years, I'm very excited to see what this all means, even if it is just new L3rds or something.

So, it looks like Mike Bettes is just visiting Stephanie in NYC. So I'm guessing now is that the "virtual host" format will be on YWT
Well, everything I just thought is now completely untrue.
This doesn't make any sense either. Will Mike be with Maria and Jen/Eric in the Atlanta studios, then? I mean, they made a special YWT opener with Mike and Stephanie on it, so certainly he'll still be a host of YWT. Honestly, I think he would have been a good asset to the NY team, but that's okay. I just hope he has a spot back in Atlanta.

I'm very confused about the new YWT openers now. It looks like they have two: one with A&B and one without. Do A&B not host all 3 hours (or however long it is) of YWT? 
Here's a video I found on YT, courtesy of ImBoredIIDeath, showing the A&B opener. I much prefer the "production music" used for the other generic opener.
EDIT: Sorry Tavores, I didn't see your previous post on this. But still, why are there two versions? It's possible A&B only do like the first hour or two of YWT.

It's definietely a move in the right direction. If they could only re-launch all of their programming now. 
Maybe they should move all their shows to NY if the graphics for them are going to look this nice.

Gosh, why oh why does TWC have to have that ugly-looking green logo for Green is Universal week? It's such an eyesore. A forest green, or sea green, or something would have been nice, but this bright, lime green is just . . .

I think we were biased about answering this question, because it was asked during the severe weather outbreak. As Patrick was saying, I don't think it would be a good idea for any of the OCMs to throw in their oh-so-clever personal humor, and do push-ups, background dances, or something else, when a severe weather outbreak was in progress. 
I think Mike is right where there is limited personal humor thrown-in to some of the shows now, but I can't really say for sure.

Me too! Ha, I was literally just thinking that. None of the openers after the 2008 relaunch had "pictures" with them, if you know what I mean. But this looks a lot better.
I really like these new graphics!
The music, eh, but the graphics are definietely a step in the right direction.For some reason, I didn't realize we would still have Maria and Jen at TWC hosting YWT...I thought it was going to be all A&B from NY.

I always get an e-mail when I receive new PMs. I didn't realize that was a feature you could turn on/off, nor was the pop-up. I do not receive the pop-up notification when I receive a new PM, though I used to.
Honestly, with these two notifications already in place, I see no reason to implement another option. If people really cared about their PMs, they would have one, or both, of these features enabled.

Which means "Green Is Universal" week is coming up.
The weather.com logo is now back to blue!
I have tried clearing my cache and everything. Are they postponing "Green in Universal" week, or was it last week? Ideally, I think it should be the week of April 22nd (how convenient), because that is when Earth Day is.

Will live coverage be extending past 3 AM ET? The squall line west of OKC is not supposed to reach us until 4 AM ET (3 AM CT), and it may produce some tornadoes.
