Guys, I'm really sorry, but I'm going to need to say a few things too.  First of all, why can't you all be open to change?  Wouldn't it get boring if things were the same way all the time?  Maybe parallel TWC not changing the music to TWC not changing its graphics...ever.  Sometimes, change is a good thing.

Also, I'm afraid if you all keep bugging TWC about this, then they're going to do the exact opposite of what you want them to do and start ignoring you.  I wish you all would give them a break and let them make their decisions.  Sometimes it is best to not know what's going on and let them make their own decisions (yes, I know a lot of them haven't been good ones, but I still have faith in TWC! )

I'm a little annoyed by the WUWA promos on shows such as Weather Center Live.  "Here's a look at what you missed on Wake Up With Al this week..."  Oh, 2 things about weather and the rest celebrities.  SWEET!

And I love how most of these promos imply that everyone missed WUWA, considering they usually say: "Here's what you missed on WUWA this morning..."  Does that mean that no one watches this show anymore?

Here we go again with everyone being overdramatic.   Let me ask you guys a question: why do you hate vocal music?  It is because it's just not TWC?  Well, TWC hasn't been "itself" in years, so get over it.  One big thing is that the locals and narration are a bad combo, and I'm aware of that.  I just don't understand why everyone is freaking out.  It's not like they got rid of the LOT8s.

I remember they HAD (have?) a purple scheme, and that definitely ain't it! 

That blue is definitely an attractive color.  The purple was nice too...it's too bad they don't use that anymore.

And don't get me started on the red.

I know I'm bumping this topic, but the NWS is now officially advertising a preview of their re-designed pages on each of their local pages.  You can click the link found on your local weather page, or visit preview.weather.gov to see it.  (No guys, I'm not going crazy this time. )

I personally like the re-design for the local pages, and I think all local pages will look similar now, which is a definite step in the right direction.  I know our original thoughts for the re-design were mostly negative, but now you've got TWC's re-design to compare it to.  Which is better ... ???

Believe me, that equation will not be taught to you in a regular or honors Physics course I'm currently a student of Physics now and we haven't touched it, but it may be in an AP Physics course (not sure on that though)

Zach, there's no way that equation is covered in Physics whether it's AP or not.  It's a concept that can only be found in advanced Meteorology classes during college.

Yeah guys, trust me.  I am majoring in meteorology and haven't even been introduced to that equation yet.  I mean, I guess it's never a bad thing to get introduced to it too early, but that's being a little too ambitious if you ask me.

The logo on the background is for the 7 Day Forecast that airs on NBC during the rebroadcast of the 4th hour of the Today Show.
That's why the logo was blocked by the LDL.
Someone must have picked the wrong background animation file.

OMG, talk about a coincidence!  The same thing that happened to Zach and Curt happened to me in school today! Some one lit a trash can in the boys locker room on fire! The whole building had to be evacuated, for the second day in a row! Yesterday, we had the building evacuated and the fire department come all because of a burnt bagel. Are you kidding me? I can't believe the same thing that happened to Zach and Curt happened to me today, I thought that would never happen at my school, well, I guess I underestimated that.

bahahahaha. Those were goooooooooooooooood times when I was in high school. I remember when I was a freshman, there were always trash can fires, and bathroom fires almost everyday. My first high school was just that dumb. lol

My gosh.  And I thought I went to a bad high school.   If that stuff did happen, I was certainly unaware of it.  There were mainly just fights at my school, and usually between girls (which let me tell you, can be much more vicious than guy fights).

My favorite part of this video is at 0:28, when they are interviewing someone (I think he's famous, but I don't recognize him ).

Interviewee: "But I don't watch [The Weather Channel] for the weather..."
Al Roker: "Then what DO you watch [TWC] for?"
Interviewee: "The news...and the sports."

Watch the person be really famous and I don't even recognize him. LOL. How embarrasing.

Does anyone know the music that is used in that video?  It's probably some random production music, but it's pretty catchy.
