Love it while you can, because I'm afraid I may have to ask him to get rid of it. Its an exact copy of TWC's banner. 

Sorry, I guess that's illegal.   Can I give credit to TWC on the sig, or would you rather me remove it right away? It won't be up for long; I'll replace it right when Storm Alert is over.

Ooo...I am liking this Storm Alert opener! Nice music and graphics!

And I almost have to take back this post. The Storm Alert opener music is not much different from the regular tropical update opener music.

If this is Storm Alert mode now (which it now is) and there's no music for it... THEN THIS SUCKS!

Talk about anti-climatic... nothing to emphasize the sense of urgency that we've got a hurricane on our hands here. Sure, I know. It's only music. But it sets the tone on what is to come.

I don't want to jump the gun, but maybe we'll see them step it up come the West Coast edition. The lead-in and lead-out music beds are okay though.

Are you talking about music for the Gustav openers or LF Storm Alert music?

Of course I am hoping for Storm Alert music during the LF, but I am slightly disappointed in the music for the openers. It is barely different from the regular opener music for the tropical update. I LOVED the hurricane/music graphics from 2006-2007. There was a definite Storm Alert theme. Just take a look at this YouTube video (courtesy of Tyler).

Storm Alert HD is so neat! I like the opener/music! How long does Storm Alert normally stay?

Good job on the banner, Billy!

This is probably a stupid thought, but is TWC not in Storm Alert because it's the weekend? Maybe we'll see Storm Alert for YWT tomorrow because it's a major show.

And, possibly, since TWC has been totally revamped there is no Storm Alert anymore.

At least there is a hurricane banner on weather.com. It's rare to see special banners like that on the website.
