Weather Center in the Day Planner position using the Day Planner colors using Weather Center graphics...
Oh that's right...PME weekend is supposed to be on!
What's going on here?

At 8:29 CT, there was a black screen for a few seconds before the LF cued. However, the LF did not start at the beginning, and the SD National Feed was being shown on TWC HD. Perhaps this was the emergency feed?

The XL has been real confusing today.
The LDL and Local Forecast showed information for Pensacola, the Daypart and Forecast Map showed information for Norfolk, VA and the 7-Day showed forecast data for Orlando. Now the 7-Day doesn't have a city or temps showing...just sky conditions and icons.

Not to be rude, but I personally don't think the pronunciation matters. Different people pronounce storms different ways. 
Was Cristobal "Cris-to-bal" with the accent on the first syllable or "Cris-to-bal" with the accent on the second syllable? I heard it pronounced both ways. And how about the way Mike Bettes pronouced Alberto?

I saw that, too and am glad that they for once didn't use their dumb production music. How come Day Planner and Weekend Now are the only ones that use random production music for the openers? It's annoying IMO.

« on: August 15, 2009, 09:20:52 PM »I think they may be so excited that the hurricane season has finally begun since it's been quiet and boring for so dang long now and to have 2 maybe even a third on the way is pumping them up, but like you guys said they shouldn't get big heads over this, neither one of those storms are going to hit soon.I'm afraid that you're right.
You would think it would make more sense to focus on what's impacting the country now, but then again this is TWC we're talking about (no offense to anyone).
But I will say that later on PME, at least they brought up the rain in Florida, including another disturbance.
I wonder if it will develop into anything.
