General Weather Chat / Re: Southern Snow
« on: January 27, 2010, 07:23:59 PM »
					No snow for us anymore.
Just rain, thunder, and colder temperatures.
The winter storm is just brushing the top of the city, according to weather.com maps. Most of the (snow) action will be in OK and TN.

					Who's getting the snow?
According to the forecast right now, Dallas won't be getting anything.
EDIT: Well, we might. There's a special weather statement out.

General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove
« on: January 26, 2010, 07:27:10 PM »Once again, you people are thinking like fans and not the average viewer. TWC wouldn't be doing these things if people weren't watching. Get over yourselves already and think once and awhile.
How many times have you had to say that, Tyler?
I can think of several right now.

« on: January 24, 2010, 12:47:33 PM »I hate to sound sadistic and insensitive here (since I'm not like that), but I'm getting awfully tired of hearing about this. WAY too over-covered, imo. Haiti is not the only story out there...
Well, that's too bad.
This is certainly a TOP story and not that overcovered since it's very sad
and not something dumb like Michael Jackson's death. If you're tired of hearing about it, don't watch TV or stay off the computer. 2256

« on: January 22, 2010, 06:06:58 PM »Another YouTube complaint: On my page, the featured video automatically plays. It didn't start doing this until yesterday, and it's extremely annoying. Anyone know how to make it not automatically play?
I thought they always did that.
If not, it's been like since longer that yesterday.

General Discussion / Re: Dang it! My YT account got suspended
« on: January 22, 2010, 06:03:25 PM »
The YouTube "coordinator" or the person who "runs" YouTube (whatever) must be in a really bad mood or something.
Stephen got a video warning yesterday, and now we have a suspended account.
EDIT: And now Evan is reporting of a warning on one of his videos that has been up for over 2 years.

« on: January 18, 2010, 12:01:56 PM »Thanks all! I am EXTREMELY late and I apologize but due to personal issues and my lack of interest in TWC I haven't been on much.
It's OK...welcome back Molly!!!
We're extremely happy to see you again.

« on: January 16, 2010, 11:25:10 PM »I'm getting a little tired of hearing about this. I understand what Chesley Sullenberger did for his crew, and that was an incredibly admirable action. But really? The commemorating of this for so long (the interviews, awards, etc, months after the fact) is a bit excessive.
Well, at least it's not as bad as the death of Michael Jackson.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Why I Love Winter Week *Only* On YWT
« on: January 13, 2010, 08:13:26 PM »
					This is a good idea.
It's a good segment for Steph and Mike, and it won't be annoyingly all over TWC for a week.

« on: January 12, 2010, 10:34:48 PM »Looks like the new theme is now permanent on weather.com. It must have happened within the past hour or two.
That's what the tutorial said, and it looks like it was right.

« on: January 11, 2010, 11:11:36 PM »
The arctic blast for Dallas has ended. Today's weather was wonderful...sunny with a high in the mid-50s.
Here is the report from the arctic blast. Although no record lows were set, it was indeed very cold.
