Do icons animate on all LDLs, large and small, SD and HD? That is REALLY a nice touch.

My questions:

1) Why does TWC need two LDLs?

2) Why is the LDL for HD different than from SD?

3) Does the big LDL prevent all those "Friday Headlines", etc. stuff from showing up on shows?

The precip icons are fine.

Yeah. I agree. I've noticed that the precip ones are like the ones on weather.com, in which different type of winter precip is separated and not overlaping. I guess this obviously shows the condition better.

I really want to see these icons animated. I'm assuming this will only happen on the IS...someone please post a video, because I don't have an IS.

Also, interesting new title banners as well. They're not that different but more "condensed."

Thanks! I don't know when the icons will be updated, but I'll be interested to see the animation.

As was mentioned earlier, I'm assuming these icons are "scaled" better. That is definetely something TWC needed to do with the icons.

Is anyone else having the issue with the scroll bar scrolling to the top of a long reply or PM every time you type a letter? It's incredibly annoying!

Yeah, that happens to me too. But the problem is only present in Internet Explorer...it doesn't happen in Firefox, and I don't know about other browsers.

Is the new LDL going to be on the IntelliStar? Because from the looks of the video, it's too big!

Not on the local forecasts but everything else. There is also a regular sized ldl (I suspect) for long form programming.

Seems strange. And interesting that TWC wouldn't update the LDL to the one that is currently on the HD Satellite feed. I wonder if that one will eventually be changed?

Schedules have been fairly wacky lately with all of the winter wx and olympics

I know things will be back to normal on Monday. Jim will be back, so will Steph (whom I haven't seen in AGES.)

Haha i know. I am just glad the Olympics are over. Too much coverage of that on TWC. Thanks NBC!

I wouldn't be surprised if for the 2012 Olympics, they have events shown on TWC, along with the other NBC networks.

I'm surprised they didn't do that this time.

Are these new icons/graphics only for weather.com video forecasts? Or will they be used on-air?

Yeah, I'm not to crazy about the new sun icon. TWC shouldn't be going downhill with the icons (although, they're probably made to look like most news channel ones).

Errr...I hate that reponse.

And now we have to wait another week before this stuff debuts.

But, as said earlier, this new LDL would not make sense on the HD feed. Wonder how they manage to work with that.

This new LDL is a lot bigger. I would think it would block some information on the IS, so maybe it will replace the blue bar on live broadcasting?
