It seems like winter is still persisting across a lot of the country (or maybe it's just the south). We haven't stayed above our normal temperature for this time of year for more than a couple of days. I want warmer weather now!

Two more LDL questions, if you all don't mind:

1) The icons on my National LDLs do NOT animate. Is this true for everyone, or is it an error?

2) Do any of the HD LDLs show local information, or just national information to synchronize with the LDA?

Wow, Martin...I was wondering when this idea might come up. I think combining TWC Classics and TWC Today is an excellent idea, so I'm all for it. Essentially, I think the sites should be combined too, but I can see where this may be a problem.

Do icons animate on all LDLs, large and small, SD and HD? That is REALLY a nice touch.

No animation on HD. All SD icons animate on all LDLs

On the SD National LDL, the icons do NOT animate. Is this true for everyone else, too?

First video of animated t-storm icons! But, to be honest, I liked the animation of the old ones better.

At least the new fog icon is nicer...it reminds me of the one from the pre-2006 icon set.

Interesting...

So when the small LDL is used for SD, no LDL is used on HD. This is probably easier to understand than I'm making it out to be, but I wish TWC would just stick with one LDL.

So let me get this straight: there are now 5 LDLs.

For SD,
one is small
one is big
one is the old blue used on the IS

For HD,
one is small
one is the big one that shows the 5-day forecast (like that)
(and technically there's six...including the LDL on the HD National Feed)

I'm surprised they wouldn't animate on HD.

Anyway, from looking at LAT48s videos, the new icons look MUCH better on the IS.
