Justin Beiber is going to be the next Michael Jackson. It's ridiculous. Plus, his music (and any music from this current era) is TERRIBLE.

I'll say...Justin Bieber sucks. But I really wouldn't say all music in this era is terrible. That's generalization.

Speaking of Justin Bieber....guess who is on TWC right now......

Wait...what!?!?

Well, if Bieber is popular, what are the odds that he will be interviewed on the next WUWA? :P

For the first time in what seems like a week, I've spotted a blue L3rd on Weather Center!

I think because it has been a week! At least TWC is still using non-red L3rds.

Just found an XL in Estes Park, CO. Its just a couple miles west of Boulder.. The CC comes from Fort Collins. I'll have some videos later...

Wow...I was in Estes Park just a little less than a month ago! :o I guess it's a small world. :P I could never find anything out about a STAR, though, because the YMCA of the Rockies didn't have a TV.

This is going to be a silly question, but TWC was never in "Storm Alert" for Alex, were they? :dunno: With the around-the-clock coverage and red L3rds that were used for Alex coverage, it might be hard to tell what a "real" Storm Alert will be, except for the fact that they say "Storm Alert."

A live stream is going on right now on weather.com, but Mike Siedel needs to watch what he's saying...I don't think he knows he's live. :o

Hurricane Central / Re: Hurricane Alex
« on: June 30, 2010, 10:40:29 PM »
Hurricane Alex has made landfall near Soto La Marina, Mexico around 10 PM EDT.  This town is about 110 miles south of Brownsville, TX.  The winds have peaked at 105 mph, and the pressure is 947 mb.  That pressure reading is really low for a Category 2 hurricane.  It could have been a scary situation if Alex had more time over water as it was really picking up intensity the last few hours.

Wow!!! :o You're right, Patrick. I didn't think Alex was going to be anywhere near a Cat. 2 after yesterday's information, but it indeed was. Good thing it didn't have more time to intensify, or it could have become a major hurricane.

We're feeling the very outer rain bands here in Dallas...we got a soaker about a few hours ago, and we'll be staying wet for the next several days.

Could Alex become a Cat. 2 before it makes landfall? :dunno: I know there is little time left, but my FOX4 weatherman was saying that such strengthening could happen.

This has persisted past the top of the hour. I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed...the icons are correct, but there is no text.

Also, as of 5:10 CT, no LDL is appearing on the SD feed.

Julie Martin is Brownsville-bound to track Hurricane Alex! Facebook confirms.

To be honest, I haven't seen her do a live report for a while now.  :hmm:

I thought Stephanie was going there. Is she going anywhere now, or not?

I think we've had a discussion on this before, but let me just ask again...is Windows 7 a good operating system? :dunno: I know that now it might be the only Windows system out there, since I think XP and Vista have been discontinued. Anyways, our home computer crashed the other day, and I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on Windows 7, even if that's the only Windows-related operating system available now.

Also, Office 2010 is great, right? I think we'll be getting that installed too.
