Tyler, do you have a video of the 16% LDL?

Will the 30% or the 16% LDL be used on the IS2? Or will there be no LDL at all? :dunno:

Also, on this video there is an "hour-by-hour" forecast but on another there is a "day planner." Are both being used?

Hey guys, in case any of you have been wondering what happened to me, I was on vacation and hadn't logged-on for three weeks. It's nice to be back again, especially to see those awesome IS 2 videos.

The new weather.com is great, but will they be updating the "10-Day Forecast" page to match the new site? Right now, because the old layout is being used, it doesn't "fit."

Will there be ads on the HD LDLs? :dunno: Also, on the "Next 8 hours" part of this big LDL, the icons look too high.

Is this the first time Paul has ever been a field reporter? I thought he was always in the studio.
No.
Correct. He has reported a lot back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Oh wow...guess it's been awhile since he's been in the field, then. I wonder why TWC decided to put him back in (or take him out in the first place).

Interesting sign...I've never seen one before either. And thanks for the explanation, Jonathan. :D

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM - Eric Fisher (?)

Is this definetely all of NBC's doing? If so, I think that's ridiculous that they can "invade" TWC like this (even though they own the station). But since we all like to blame NBC for things they *may* not be responsible for, I just thought I'd ask.

well, we need someone to blame...and since NBC has proven that they're full of it, why not?  :P

Well, that sounds good enough for me, Al. :P

TWC (or NBC) is hiring too many new OCMs now, though. With the shortness of time before another new one is hired, it almost seems like this is all a joke. Pretty soon TWC might not have any "experienced" OCMs at all (with the exception of Jim and maybe Stephanie).

like as in you click like and it goes to facebook or are you talking about the karma feature. Sounds like the latter. If so then no its not coming

What? Go to Facebook? He wants a "like/dislike" button feature on every post to essentially "rate" someone else's post, like on YouTube.

From the majority of feedback, I don't think this will be happening.

Do these new OCMs start out by just giving a segment of a program, such as the WP. Otherwise, why would he be working at TWC if he was just giving the weekly planner?

And that settles that... :twothumbs:

I personally am against it as well. Whereas the "like" button would subtract from the short posts such as "Yes" or "I agree," a "dislike" button would lead to severe arguments, IMO. Best idea would be to not have this feature on the forums. ;)

Oh my gosh! What a video! PME was very disorganized today. Even Nick and Vivian were confused...let's talk about the heat...no...about TD 2...ugh.
