So when will the airport delays product be added?  :dunno:
They've already got it on the NYC one, but when will it be added to the Nashville HD STAR's?

We have no idea. That's why I asked. ;)

If TD 5 redevelops into a tropical cyclone, will it be TD 5 again or TD 6? I'm surprised that it is gaining strength again like this, though. Didn't think it could happen.

So I randomly checked out TWC Media Kit and watched the "Local on the 8s HD" video, and it jogged my memory that there were supposed to be airport delay reports and a pollen forecast on the IS2. Now, I know this video was created a couple of years ago, but are there any plans to do like what they said?

IMO, they have way to many shows already. I'm not even that familiar with Impact TV or Tornado Road, etc, etc, etc... :faint: But I know it's all about the ratings, attracting cable companies, blah, blah...

That's too bad that's he's no longer at TWC. I enjoyed watching him in Dallas and then at TWC, but now it looks like I won't see him anymore at all :itsok:

Why does Jim sound so awkward? His voice is so deep too like he's a robot or depressed or something.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was trying to say when I said "choppy." There is one point where his voice sounds almost like it is automated or something. Maybe, as TWCDude said, it has something to do with the beta.

Does anyone know what happened to Chris Warren and Alexandra Steele? Ever since, that "adult oriented Tomorrow's Talker" segment, they haven't been on WC or on TWC ever since.

That was quite the segment. But yeah,as everyone else is saying, they're probably just on vacation.

What was this "segment"? :dunno: And how come Jim is never on...after all, HIS name is part of the show title. :P

Tomorrow's Talker August 2010 Part 2

Steele gone mad! :fire: Wow, they were both perky.
"Alright, hi..." :P

Well my cousin got kicked out of school today. He left his classroom and came into mine. He seemed to have a bone to pick with the guy sitting behind me. He came skipping in and said "Hi" and proceeded to beat him up, with markers in his hands to prevent his hands from breaking. Our teacher tried to break it up but they continued, they eventually got pushed into a lamp, breaking the (fluorescent) bulb in it and screwing up the lampshade, as teachers apprehended him, his necklace broke, spilling those little white "shark teeth" all over the floor. As the kid he beat up left the room, he was in the teacher's hands and said "You don't have to hold on to me, i'm not going to do it again." I'm scared of him now. I used to like to hang around him, but now, I want to be as far away from him as possible.

I'd be afraid to be around him, too. :o As much as I believe you, this seems like something you would see in a movie. Hope the hazardous fluorescent bulb clean-up effort was alright, too.

Hmm, I'm missing Allen Jackson. Jim is speaking a little too fast and is "choppy." Interesting how the radar is no longer narrated. Maybe this is a bug or something.

Also, the Local Forecast screen no longer has text. Can someone please confirm this? Is this a new permanent change?

Programming and Graphics / Re: Wake Up With Al

I am amazed at how much vacation time Al gets. I mean he seems to get a lot

It looks like he's off every single Monday. He as off last Monday, and now this Monday, too.

OK, so honestly, what's the purpose of "Wake up with AL" if the "star" is barely ever there? I don't watch WUWA, but from all these descriptions, it sounds like this show has really declined. Maybe it should just be renamed to "Wake up with Abrams & Bettes" to bring the A&B duo back together.

Now I know why TWC went with Richard Knabb instead of Steve Lyons. Rich is more "alerting" to people as opposed to Steve who was more calm over storms like this.

I thought Steve Lyons chose to leave TWC. Was he laid off?

Anyways, I think it is safe to say that no matter if the storm is a weak TD or a Cat 5, TWC will always be in an "alerting" mode. This is part good and part annoying. <_<

Hurricane Central / Re: Tropical Depression Five

I think it would be amazing if this thing could pull off a Humberto, but I know it won't though. I could care less if it's a depression, storm, or hurricane. I want it to take that sharp turn right and bring us some needed rain and relief. With La Nina coming back it won't be too long before the "D" word comes back into play. :fear:

Which "D" word are you talking about. :o :P

Long-form preempted today to talk about this very disorganized storm. Red L3rds being used. No red LDL, though, suprisingly.
