I remember seeing an article on weather.com that this month has been quieter than usual in terms of the number of tornadoes...so I can't remember if there have been any others for this month or not (I know the Alabama tornadoes happened in April).
The world was supposed to end fifteen minutes ago in my time zone with a huge earthquake, and I haven't felt or seen a thing. So, as one of your resident meteorologists here, I officially declare this prediction as:

Note that Don, Katia, Rina, Sean, and Whitney are all new names for this season as replacements for the hurricanes of the devastating 2005 hurricane season.

With hurricane season fast approaching, I was wondering if you all just want to deal with the Atlantic basin storms on the forum, or do you still want the Eastern Pacific included as well? I'm just asking here for a general opinion before the threads are made.
