I like the new design, but why do you update the look of your site so often, Matt? I guess it never hurts to try something new (and like I said, I like this design), but it seems like once we get used to one look/layout, it changes again.

I have never been a member of Taiganet, but it looks like that is the only "TWC Fan" forum that still has very tight security restrictions for guests.  I guess the admin (Bill?) has had some problems that TWCC and TWCT one experienced.

Daylight saving time ends this Sunday at 2 AM, so remember to set your clocks back one hour.  At least some of you can use that extra hour to rest up and get well.  Hope you feel better soon, Zach.

Ah, the real transition into late fall and winter...gotta get ready for those 6:30 sunrises/sunsets.  Honestly, why was the end of Daylight Savings pushed back just one week later? I know they wanted to make Daylight Savings longer, but pushing the end date back by just one week and moving the start date up by just a couple of weeks doesn't really make a huge difference.

I am in no way a "playlist" expert, but why can't TWC just use the same playlist (for its designated two months) 24/7?  I know WUWA used to play vocal music, but since that doesn't look like it is happening anymore, shouldn't they just have the same playlist as all the other shows?

Those new title bars certainly look like ones that would be used on a news station.  Which, there's nothing wrong with that of course, and it's understandable, but it does make TWC seem like it's lost some of its originality.

Well goodness, first weather.com had a video of a couple saying "I Do" in a dust storm, now they have one of a couple saying "I Do" in a Nor'easter storm shelter.  Next thing you know, they'll have a video of a couple saying "I Do" in a hurricane!

I'm kind of surprised the IS2 didn't have Halloween as a holiday like it has for everything else so far...

Only national holidays are, I believe.

Yeah, agreeing with Mike, I think the IS2 will only show holidays as the NWS shows them (i.e. they would be national holidays). Look next Friday for Veterans Day, and that will give us a clue.

This would be extremely helpful and such a cool idea if it could work. I did not realize you could somehow put automatically updating NWS info. into an MS Excel spreadsheet. If this is possible, you're going to have to show us how this is done. Very cool idea.

It turns out my older TV was only 3.5 years old, not 5 as I originally stated after finding the receipt for it yesterday.  The 3-year protection plan from Circuit City had just expired a few months ago, and Circuit City isn't exactly easy to reach right now.  Could I have been any more unlucky last week?  Thankfully, I found a new and better TV at Best Buy today.  I posted the details of it in the "What is the last thing you bought?" thread.

Going a little OT and all over the place here...

When you mentioned "Circuit City," I thought they had gone out of business, but I Googled them, and they supposedly still have a website.  Well then I Googled "Circuit City Going Out of Business," found this YouTube video, and if you listen carefully, you can hear the production music that was used for TWC's "First Day of Fall" intro a long while back.  I know this is all random, but I thought it was an interesting find.

This one was not the best...primarily because he was talking to someone on the phone. And although we love Jim and his excitement, I'm sure the person on the phone was having a very painful time dealing with all of Jim's drama.

Woah.. I just tuned into TWC today for the first time in a couple weeks and now I don't have the IS 2 anymore  Down for an update I guess? Don't know if this has been discussed yet.. Haven't had time to look on the forums much so I'm completely unaware right now whats going on  lol

Uh yeah, this has been discussed. Just look at the few pages preceding this one. We are not 100% sure why some of the IS2s are going out, but it could be for an update.
