Would Local Now replace WeatherScan? i'm also wondering what's going to happen to the IS2 graphics if they're going to be updated or not.

Is there any indication that there may be another graphics revamp? I haven't been following much of anything recently so it'd be news to me.

I've not seen anything come through The Front about any graphics revamps. TWC seems to be sticking to the current graphics set.

I always thought there was no dual feed on HD but I was wrong. Less than a minute after longform started at 10, I got a breaking now come up and the national feed with the longform LDL. For some reason even though I'm in eastern PA I get the coverage for the stuff going on in Michigan right now. Attached are pictures from 10:15 from Slatington PA and McAllen, TX (credit: Luesjo12) showing the dual feed in action. Also, it seems TWC forgot to remove the Tropical Summary slides for Ana and Bill from the national sidebar.

I developed this as a concept for my TV Production class's weather segment we air during our morning news show on Fridays. They were very heavily inspired by TWC's current graphics set. I'm temporarily using the TWC Icons (animated by Aero Films) until I can find another set of flat animated icons. I take no copyright on this and all copyright goes to The Weather Channel.  I'm leaning towards using the second one personally.

Good work, looks pretty solid! How does one embed YouTube videos by the way?

Thanks! Embeding videos is supposed to work by using the Insert hyperlink button and removing the S from the YouTube URL, but YouTube substitutes that "Device Support" video instead because of an API change on their side.

Hello! I have a emulation of the IntelliStar v2 to share today. I made it completely in After Effects. I made it in honor of our IntelliStar unit that was finally decommissioned on 5/29/15. The weather data and audio is from a LF audio recording I had laying around, along with the forecast copied as text from the LF on 10/28/14.
