General agreement that our Atlantic disturbance has winds of at least 45 knots, so just a good bit of organization could make this thing a sub-tropical storm.

Now that I am officially back on campus, this tab will be updated much more frequently.

Pleasant week in store. Highs climbing no higher than 82, and dropping no lower than 71 over the next seven days. A good chance of thunderstorms on Fri/Sat.

Heading off to summer school in North Dakota in a few days to finish my flying and get a few credits taken care of. Weather is looking perfect apart from the breezy conditions moving through every 3-4 days. Perfect timing as well, since my area right now is getting overrun with NASCAR fans.
Where are you now, still in the west coast? Or back in SC?

Been back in South Carolina for a few weeks.

Well I have finished my first semester of 19 credit hours. Whew! It was a lot of work but I did well in most of my classes. I'm signed up for 24 hours next semester but I'm working on knocking a couple classes off that. :P
Thanks Eric. :) I wasn't prepared for the rigorous coursework awaiting for me during the first few weeks, but I had to tackle it if I wanted to be successful. I have learned a lot of interesting material in my classes, though. Lookin forward to organic chemistry and Calculus I though :P
Finding that balance between classes and fun is key! I know if I go out with friends to consume some "beverages", I have to make sure its not interfering with my courses. Unlike most people I don't qualify for any financial aid so I figure why do I want to waste my money on a course just to have to take it over again? College is way too expensive to waste money on.
Exactly. Where you're on financial aid or not, you're going to college for an education. That's always the main reason. Especially in this economy and tight job market, getting a college degree is a must.

And a good degree at that, because there are more and more degrees out there that just aren't going to pay off in the long run. Lord knows how many of my friends at UND are already knee-deep in student loan debt and are on track for a degree that...well, frankly, isn't going to get enough money into their pockets to pay that debt off.

Mac, be aware that you posted an image that could auto-update so if you want it to stay the way it is now I would suggest uploading it to imgur, tinypic, or any others

Thanks for the note Zach, but this image will remain the same until the end of the world in December. :P

I need an honest opinion from you folks - I got hooked getting weather information out to people since that recording a few days ago, so last night I started a blog for our website. It's located here.

http://theweathercentertwco.wordpress.com/

What do you guys think? Too technical, too many pictures, too cluttered, just right? Any opinion would help.

As for the trash cans, I've never seen or heard of that happening in any of my schools. In middle school, it was always bomb threats during exam week.

One thunderstorm a couple of days ago, but apart from that, nothing on my end. Maybe changing locations will help.

Yeah, a bit cluttered for my tastes. Not like it matters for me; NWS is the only site I've been going to for weather information since about a year ago.

No change on my end either. Do you have a screenshot, Andy?
