No storms for Grand Forks, but there are reports of significant damage in Bemidji, MN. A Civil Emergency Message is out for that county and surrounding areas.

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like a MDT risk situation may occur across Minnesota, but I'm a tad bit too far west to see any significant wind activity.

Slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon, and this times models are in outstanding agreement on today's scenario. There is a tornado threat and the possibility of very large hail here in GFK, while areas east could face a possible derecho scenario.

35 warnings in effect right now across the United States, with the majority across the Southeast. This looks exciting.  :thrilled:

The article only mentions the main home page, point-click forecasts, and a few other things that will be undergoing a new format. I'm at least hoping that they will eventually phase everything into the new design (I am personally very interested to see how SPC and NHC would look with this theme). If not, I'm not going to be a happy camper.

It's down for all local pages. Grand Forks is putting up an error message as well.

United and Delta are actually high on my list of the best airlines across America (although being the "best airline" in America doesn't mean much). I agree with US Airways and American, though.

I assume most of you can see through internet scams, but just a heads up that a variation of the Nigerian Prince scam is now going around. This is just a portion of a letter I got in my inbox. Ironically, this guy was stupid enough not to change continents.  :rofl2:
