I didn't vote this year
Why?
Victor. Be warned. If you do not like who wins the Presidency, you have no right to complain about him since you chose not to vote.
its not that, I just dont care for either candidate.
Whatever happens will happen speculating doesnt help anything in my opinion
I respect your choice, but there are 5 choices you can make for President - it's not just between Obama and Romney.

For those of you wondering when results will start filtering in - the earliest will be at 6 PM EST with Kentucky and Indiana tallying their votes first.

Found this on CNN of Knabb briefing the President. Credit to Pete Souza and The White House.

Latest prediction markets and blogs are all favoring Obama by some degree. Of particular note is Nate Silver, a statistician who called 49 of the 50 states correctly in 2008, as well as all the senate races. His last prediction has Obama winning 314 electoral votes with Florida ever so slightly looking blue. His chance for Obama winning: 91.4%.

Tavores, your map is exactly the same as mine. However, Florida is getting really really close and there is still a chance Obama could win it. If Obama does win Florida, then Romney is finished, hands down.

At this point, I see no reason for Ohio to not go to Obama. Every single poll out of Ohio since Nov. 1 has favored the President and the latest had him leading with a margin of +5.

Ok...I'm going to start this and hope it doesn't blow up. Let's try and keep the discussion polite.

Who would you cast your vote for tomorrow for the White House - incumbent Barack Obama, or challenger Mitt Romney?

It looks like it's going to be a very tight race, and early voting is already a mess in Ohio and Florida. I heard some reports that people were waiting up to 7 hours in some parts of Florida just to vote?

Oh great! School on election day! Well, we had a whole week off but still, it's election day, they couldn't have chosen anything else? I hope they run out of gas for those buses geesh.  <_<

Just out of curiosity, why would you get Election Day off? It's not a holiday or anything.

We have election day off so teachers have time available to vote. Some teachers here have busy lives and don't have much time to vote. Now since my school district wants to make up days, we now have school on election day. Most public schools around the country have election day off from what I heard.

Actually, the reason school is closed on Election Day is because in most places the schools are used as voting places. Can't have school in session with people coming in and out of the building all day long!

On an unrelated note, hello Victor and Charismatic!!  B)
Please, just call me Pavel. :P

I completely forgot schools were used as polling centers.  Forgive me for my ignorance, guys. I haven't gotten Election Day off since...well, 2008.

I went out and voted early today. I hope those of you who can legally vote will do so!

..so is anyone ready for it to get dark before 6 PM tomorrow?  :P

Absolutely not! :(  Yes, I like my "extra hour" of sleep, which usually just turns into me saying "Hey, I can stay up an extra hour." :P  But it getting dark earlier just doesn't appeal to me.

I'll voice my opinion about it when the sun sets right at 4 PM.  <_<

EDIT: Facebook reports from their office indicate total accumulation of about 2.5 inches at the NWS office down the road.

A bigger storm could be on the way late next week - probably on Friday/Saturday. Some heavier accumulations could be possible by then, assuming the 540 line stays to our south.

So...did anyone catch Jim Cantore on the Late Show last night?

Yes. The fact that the show was audience free made it a tad bit awkward for me, but he did a good job.

Shifting gears...is anyone seeing the new Youtube layout? The website seems to have gone the way of Google+.
