Sadly, TWCC_Lightning, you're going to bet both. Wind is definitely in your picture, and there is a 15% chance of tornadoes for your area.

Well, it was five hours of complete torture, but the stream officially had its first all-day broadcast, and we managed to be patient enough to see the start of a relatively small severe weather event. We'll be doing it again today. A little note, though: Severe Weather Center is postponed until further notice. Our next show will be at 2 PM EDT, with Weather Center.

Well, there is some pretty strong instability anticipated for that area tomorrow according to sounding forecasts at Birmingham. The SPC says in its Day 2 Outlook that "strong tornadoes" are possible in that area.

That'll mostly be a hail threat. A few tornadoes, maybe, but the way the atmosphere is shaping up, looks like another hail storm.

Hartsville, South Carolina. We usually have some of the cheapest gas around. But then again, who said $3.27 was cheap?  :rofl2:

Well, the Storm Prediction Center is confirming a tornado in that location for you guys, exactly five miles SW of Greensburg, PA. 1.75 inch hail reported in the same area.

Random fact: Apparently, a tornado has been confirmed in California.
