There is a high risk of severe thunderstorms in South Central Kansas into much of Oklahoma, with a significant threat of tornadoes.

A new storm cluster is currently being investigated in the Pacific Basin, and given a 20% chance of development into a tropical system. The Atlantic is also stirring, with another cluster with a 20% chance of development.

That's good news. Out of curiousity, what did your local NWS office have to say about it? I've never thought to have a weather website examined by a WFO, so I was wondering whether they complimented it or gave you recommendations?

May 15th marks the start of the Eastern Pacific hurricane season. Although I'm not expecting any tropical development for a few more days, I figured this would be a good time to open up the official Hurricane Central 2011 thread. I don't think we ever gave you guys a website that this stream was based out of. We do have our own website, with our own forecasts (heavily based on NWS forecasts). We update it several times a day, and try to add new things to it about once a week. We'd love some feedback on it from you guys!
