I think there's one up in Orting, kinda far away, for if Mt. St. Helens blows. There might be one closer that I don't know about because if the mountain blows a certain way, I could be screwed in the valley.

Am I the only one that sees a problem with parents allowing 7-year olds to freely roam the Internet and join forums?

No, I'm with you all the way. It's ridiculous.
I was 11 when I got on the internet! And even at that point I didn't go around joinin' up forums. hah.

Haha yeah. I really hope it doesn't get pushed up at all, I really want it to stay at what it is now. All it's going to do is confuse people, and some people might get on a jist that they're not going to do it.

Windows 7 is a LOT better than Vista. I compare this to when Windows ME came out, it was a pile and then XP came out and it was like 100% better. Even for a BETA Windows 7 is great. Also, there's not much OSX copying, it's just fanboys getting upset that it kinda looks like it even though its a lot different.

Each cable system has an allotted space of bandwidth. It's similar to internet bandwidth, but a bit different. Analog channels take up a massive amount of bandwidth compared to compressed MPEG2 channels. I don't remember what the ratio is, but I think it was about 5-6 SD MPEG2 compressed to one NTSC Analog channel.

Comcast told me "When the DTV Transition goes as planned, we will Have enough bandwidth to add your indicated HD channel to your local lineup" so i guess its too good to be true then  :(
Comcast has their own "DTV Transition" plans. They are in a lot of areas getting rid of the Expanded Basic tier of analog and putting it in all digital.

Also, the boxes that they have available for older analog TVs are called "DTA"s and they are much cheaper than a full box. For Comcast you can get 2 for free, and I think its about a dollar for another.

After 2/17/09,  More free bandwidth from Analog channels = More room for NEW HD channels  :thrilled:

Just because there's more room doesn't mean Comcast will RUSH to add them. :whistling:

They did here :P They added like 20 more right after they got the bandwidth.

Haha, that stuff happens all the time here, but I kinda give them some slack because the Western Washington region is one of the hardest places to forecast for.

Who cares? Those aren't our videos he is stealing, they're TWC/NBC's videos. Not liking the fact he's asking the passwords though.
Yeah, just because you recorded it doesn't mean it's yours.
