Here's a :50 flavor after the logo and audio corrections.

Note, the music is slightly flat, but the narration is now heard clearly.

I use these logos in my 4000 emulations/simulator. I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for though. :dunno:

These are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Why are you using the NOAA logo instead of TWC? And why does it sound like Dan is talking in an echo chamber?

Sorry about the audio. I'm using a HP laptop (using Windows 8.1) and left the special audio effects on.  I did not know that it would affect the recording.

I started using the NOAA logo a year ago because I couldn't find the right TWC logo.

« on: July 03, 2010, 11:21:45 PM »
On my I-pod:

1) You're the Star - Network Music

2) Beach Trails - David Benoit

3) In the Pocket - Network Music

4) Mighty Love (instrumental version) - Stuff

5) Where The Road Will Lead Us - The Rippingtons

6) Early A.M. Attitude -  Dave Grusin & Lee Ritenour  (my favorite song of all-time)

7) The Juggler -  Billy Cobham

8) Passage - Chick Corea Elektric Band

9) The Story Teller -   Kevin Eubanks

10) Who's Holding Her Now - The Rippingtons

Guilty pleasure: Anything instrumental, classical, anything '80s, and easy-listening.

Quite honestly, I can live without the popular music of today.  It's, in my opinion, not really music.

Everything Else TWC / Re: When did you first discover TWC?
« on: August 29, 2007, 06:53:26 PM »
In 1987, when I was 8, via channel surfing. The graphics of the BTF and the STAR 3 of the Local Forecast had me instantly hooked. Not to mention that I was an information junkie for my age. The very first major hurricane I remembered when watching was Hurricane Hugo in 1988. Who can forget the Great Christmas freeze of 1989, where most of the southeast dipped to well below freezing levels and parts of Florida saw snowfall.

City where I first discovered TWC: Jacksonville, FL
First OCM ever watched: Marny Stanier
First segment ever watched: The Good Morning Forecast
First LF flavor ever watched: the "H" flavor.

I started ro wear glasses recently, but I only do when I read for a long period of time or if I'm sitting in front of the computer, like I do at work.

Speaking of which, I remembered the days when calculators were banned in my school district until I was in Algebra I was in the 9th grade.

Calculus was a little challenging, though. I remember doing the first exam for the subject and I had a "C" on it, which I was a little surprised. I, ultimately tightened up and had an A- overall average, which kept my honors points added to my existing GPA.
