« on: April 27, 2010, 05:10:58 PM »I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 that's about ten years old that came from a contractor.I had the same STB from Adelphia/Comcast before the switch to FiOS. Now the STB I use is a Motorola QIP2500. It has a better GUI compared to the Explorer 2000.
But now, I miss that old STB.

Oh, ok. Even though I have FiOS, my Grandma has DirecTV (The reason why I seldom watch channels from them). I probably didn't even heard of SonicTap before. According to that company, they are DirecTV's new music source. They probably replaced XM for unknown reasons.

I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that the XL is pretty old compared to the IS. I think TWC wanted to focus more on the IS and the prototype HD STAR.
