The high temperature at the Evansville regional Airport reached 88
degrees this afternoon... which ties the record for this date. A
temperature of 88 degrees was originally set on this date in 1980.
Temperatures across the Evansville area have averaged 10 to 15
degrees above normal for the past 4 days.

today. This breaks the old record of 84 set in 1938.

This is the highest temperature reading so late in the year at
