But since that's not the case (evidently), then the modem is definitley suspect.Well, the last time we got a new modem was back in January, I believe, which is when we got wireless. My mom said that our modem was refurbished, so since it's been used before I wouldn't be surprised if there was a problem with the modem. As all our phone jacks are fine, and according to the technician that came out the other day, he checked the boxes outside and we're getting a strong DSL signal.
Yeah, refurbs usually don't last long. There's a reason its refurbed-someone else returned it because they had problems with it. So, yeah, you can probably see now why refurbs aren't always a good idea.
