Yes, and its not weird. Its normal. Cordless phones run entire spectrums (frequency ranges), not just a single frequency. It can (and does) use any frequency in the 2.4Ghz range.The cordless phone runs through the entire 2Ghz band. As for those GHz labels on the channels, their pretty much universal. If your router is on channell 11, you can be confident that that is the frequency its on.They take up the ENTIRE frequency? thats weird.

There is this person out of the area (somewhere in east central PA) who has been calling my dad's home phone several times in the past few days, including three times early this morning, twice at 3AM and again near 6AM. The last time he called was about a half-hour ago and my dad answered it and it was some guy with a Russian accent who didn't seem to understand English. He told the guy he got the wrong number, then he called once again shortly thereafter. He hasn't called since, though.
I hate it when people call me in the middle of the night. :glare:
Does anyone know how I can block someone from calling me? My dad has Comcast phone service and he is already signed up for the "do not call" list, if that helps.
