Did I say it was wrong? Did I say you couldn't do it? You just always seem to be the first to give your two cents when issues arise.

Alright, here are my predictions for this weekends NFL championship games:

Eagles 17 Cardinals 14-The Cardinals haven't been here in almost half a century. I don't think their going to make it any further. Their defense is pitiful. The only reason they've made it this far is because of a couple of good receivers. Kurt Warner is at the end of his career, and he wouldn't even be playing had the starting QB not gotten hurt. But if Donovan McNabb reverts to his old ways from earlier in the season Arizona could pull it out.

Ravens 10 Steelers 6-This game is going to be all defense for both sides. Both sides are going to be hitting hard, and I think that if the Ravens can hit Big Ben it's going to play to their advantage. Joe Flacco has been ironclad all postseason, and I think it'll take a bus to rattle him. Also, the Ravens have had 0 turnovers in the postseason. If they can continue to protect the ball like that Pittsburgh doesn't have a prayer. Hopefully since this is a playoff game the refs will be sure not to be the deciding factor. If there's a time when the players should decide the game and not the ref, this is it. Both teams have reliable kickers, so if it comes down to field goals we could very well be looking at the need for an extra quarter to decide it. But the deciding factor in this game is ultimately going to be determination. Your going to have to kill Ray Lewis and company, because their going to do everything possible to keep us from losing 3 straight to the Steelers. Neither offense is terribly great, but I believe ours is better-last week we played a defense that was light years better than the Chargers. So before the Steelers fans got too excited about last weeks win, they should have bore in mind who they played. Don't expect a rout this week.

Same here. We're gonna have highs in the teens and low 20's and lows in the single digits for the next five or so days. The weatherman on WBAL says this is the coldest air we've seen since 1994. That was one VERY frigid winter.

Hmm...would it be possible to do what Dan did with his forum...add some sort of "age sensitive" forum?  I know copying someone else's forum idea isn't probably the best idea...but this might work.

And also, I could have sworn it was a guy since they said their name was Shane in their first post... Wouldn't expect that to be a girl's name, but these days, anything can happen.

One of the models from Price is Right was named Shane.  So I didn't think anything of it.

I like... any kind of music really, except rap.

Me too, except Mexican and latin music  (I hate them with a passion). They are really annoying, and gets on my nerves.    That's why I hate living near Mexico.

You don't have to live near Mexico to hear latin music. I live in MD and hear plenty of latino music. The latino population in this country is exploding.

It was brought to my attention tonight that one of our most recent new members is a 7 year old girl (yes, you read that right). Therefore, I need you all to help me out. See, ordinarily having such a young child here is something I'd be very uncomfortable with, perhaps to the point of not allowing it. But AFAIK this forum has no feature like IPB's were you can make registrants confirm their age, so my hands are kinda tied. So, from here on out I need everyone to refrain from using vulgarity of any sort. Since I can't very well l turn her away now, I have to do the next best thing which is to protect her from things she shouldn't see. I hope you guys understand this. This has always been a family oriented forum, so I suspect that this won't be too much to ask.

That said, the member I'm speaking of is sunlightreport. Many of us have dealt with her, and were frustrated by some of her posts. So now that we know the why behind her posts, please do me a favor and be patient. Remember, this is a child. Don't get mean with her, and don't be nasty. If you don't have the patience, then please don't say anything at all.

I appreciate everyone's cooperation. 

You're not gonna reprimand an accidental slip up in language are you? And I don't think most people here talk about certain things (more towards PG-13+ stuff) anyway so all should be mostly good.  You'll have cooperation from me

Why aren't I surprised that your the first responder? No, there won't be reprimands. I'll simply edit posts I find to be unsuitable. BUt I'm asking for you guys to tone it down on your own because I'm only one person and I don't have time to watch you all like children.

I thought they were a girl because of the e-mail address (which clearly belongs to a girl). I didn't see a mention of his/her name.

I'm glad I have your cooperation, though I'd prefer it without a side of hoopla.

I'm with a couple of earlier posters-I like the music, although its not necessarily my favorite. I primarily listen to rock, and listen to instrumental music to relax.
