Why don't you just send a CD to the programmer?

Do you know his address?

There's no reason to opt-out. If my messages were truly spam, then I could understand people not wanting to receive them. Its ludicrous to me that anyone would not want to receive my messages.

BTW, you don't have to stay here you know. Your welcome to leave and not come back whenever you want. I certainly won't hold you back.

There's no set in stone rule. It's completley a matter of personal preference. The majority of older aged teachers prefer the same type of students. There are those though that don't mind younger kids. My own kindergarten teacher was at least in her mid to late 30's if not early 40's.

Unfortunately that has no bearing on what I do here. I can't come to your forum, and thus can't see what goes on there. Not that I wouldn't have posted this article if I could.

I was convinced that its not what its cracked up to be when I recalled an interesting fact I learned in my high school earth science class: CO is naturally occuring in our environment. If not for it, we'd freeze to death as it does act like a blanket. But not all CO stays in the atmosphere. Much of it filters out into space. In addition, plants and other living things also excrete CO, as much as we humans release into the atmosphere. When you put all these facts together it seems rather difficult to believe that the global warming issue is as severe as some (*cough* Cullen *cough*) would like us to believe.

Thunder-one reason: the older folks generally want to deal with older folks, and don't have the patience for a bunch of little ankle biters...errr, kids.

If it was up to me I wouldn't give you the choice of unsubscribing from them. I only e-mail you guys about important issues, issues that I feel need immediate attention, and occassionally other things as well. There is no justification in the world for not wanting to receive my e-mails. I would think that anyone who cares about the site enough would want to receive e-mails.

He's not with TWC anymore, FYI.  :sunglasses:

Here's another article. This one is an entire interview with Coleman. Pretty interesting stuff.

Weather Channel founder says global warming is a hoax
by Cathy Wurzer, Minnesota Public Radio,
Paul Huttner, Minnesota Public Radio
November 23, 2007

I can't find a single link between any warming that may have occurred and the activities of mankind.
- John Coleman, KUSI

St. Paul, Minn. — The debate has been quite heated recently over global warming - no pun intended.

John Coleman, the founder of The Weather Channel, says that climate change is a hoax and he's critical of the media for fostering what he thinks is a scam. Meanwhile, scientists with the IPCC are still sounding the alarm tht a warmer climate could mean the extinction of some species. Global warming from both sides

Though short, the article says that John Coleman, TWC's founder, feels that global warming is a hoax, and hints that apparently Coleman is pretty unhappy with all the hype about it.

Just found an interesting article regarding TWC's CD. Here is the link: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hThwJkJ1kM2ydUDMdd0MzG2O10ewD8T3JU5G4. The last few sentences in particular were interesting. Apparently there are more CD's in the works.  :thrilled:

Judging by your earlier response you aren't confident in the information I'm giving you-which, by the way, I stand by regardless of who says what.

As has been said in this thread already, full HD is not coming until mid 08

It was also said in this thread a time or two that the LOT8's wasn't in HD and it was (on Directv HD).........so, I'm careful to 'verify' and ask questions!

It is your understanding (from TWC itself or some other source?) the launch won't be coming until the middle of this upcoming year?......

Maybe you should find out for yourself.  :whistling:
