Thanks Mike. And you know what? That made it absolutley positively no easier for me. You can give a clue without giving the answer away, or making it easy to figure out.

Now then, L?

That depends. What area would your radar map cover?

It does? I havent seen any Baltimore IS vids for a while

Gary, may i ask what the model your tuner is?

That's because with multiple computer crashes, this website, and life in general I really haven't had the time (not to mention desire) to sit down and record LF's.

My tuner is an Xpert TV-PVR. I picked it up for $25 at a computer show and sale, which take place about once a month around here. The deals you can find at these shows (as illustrated by this tuner) are sometimes phenomenal.

BTW, way too early to put a tree up ;)
So do you put your tree up a day before Christmas? :P

On topic, I put my tree (fake) up last weekend.
usually a week before, give or take a few days.

I'll admit, I'm glad when the holidays are over just as much as the next guy, but gee whiz, that's not even enough time to get a little enjoyment out of it. :D

Anyway, I put up my lights on Thursday, and my tree went up yesterday. I love to put up the lights and decorate, and I always go all out too.  :P

Be greatful they even made a video at all. A TV Tuner isn't necessary if you only care enough to make a video or two.
its money down the drain.
Well i heard the cheaper a tuner is, the more poor the quality is. My tuner cost $$60!!

That's definitley a very misinformed opinion. I only payed $25 for mine and it makes superb video. As with everything else, price doesn't always dictate quality.

I think he's suggesting that Charter isn't very customer friendly(which is something to be angry about).

E?

No clue?
Gary, you can guess letters before you take a shot at the phrase. ;)

Edit: Oh, I see what you mean now. I take back that last statement. Mike, you should give us a clue/category. ;)

Haha, yeah I know how the game works.  :rofl2:

Mike, STILL no clue?

Everything Else TWC / Re: Jumped the Shark?
« on: December 07, 2007, 07:01:16 PM »
In my opinion, yes TWC can jump the shark, and it has. You see, when TWC first came about, it was 24 hours hours of nothing but good ol fashioned weather, there was none of this long form hogwash, and the OCM's were allowed to be ugly, because looks didn't matter. Today's TWC is more about glitz and glammer and drama than weather. Ask any long time TWC Fan, and they will surely echo my thoughts.

EDIT: Oh, and need I mention that what weather TWC does still have has been dumbed down so much that a preschooler can interpret it?

Got a question for someone who knows the answer. Its actually more of a classic TWC question, but there are several people here whom I know know the answer. Back in the mid 90's, several songs (that I know of) by Schonerz & Scott were used. I know one was "I Remember", but what was the other? The reason I asked is because I was at the library looking at the sale materials today and happened across a Windham Hill compilation disc with the song "Daydreams" (or perhaps it was Daydreaming?) by S & S, which really seemed to ring a bell of familiarity to me, though I failed to buy the CD because I wasn't sure.

Yes Gary. You are correct. Daydreams was used, in Nov 95, from the same CD as "I remember". I have the CD, though I cant remember the title off the top of my head :blushing:

I didn't see "I Remember" on the track listing of this compilation CD. I'm going to have to go back over to the library and pick that CD up. I hope its still there!  :ninja:
