That sounds a little more complicated and time consuimg then simply playing the file and recording the sound. 

It's not really complicated at all, it's pretty simple, actually.

Your method requires three steps, whereas ours only requires two. Granted, as Mike said, our method is as long as the clip we're trying to record, so that's its downfall. However, I notice better sound quality when recording directly as opposed to conversion of a file from one type to another. That process tends to cause the clip to lose quality.

TWC Today News / Display name changes

Starting immediately, all members are now limited to one name change in a three month period, just as at TWCC. I started off not enforcing such a rule because I felt as though it was unnecessary. But, as is so often the case when I am more relaxed about something than Matt is on his board, I've found out why Matt does what he does. Some people just have to change their names on a constant basis.

So once again, you are now limited to one name change in a three month period. anyone found to be breaking this rule will lose the privelege entirely.

Sounds a little odd. I don't want anyone being able to watch what I'm doing whenever they feel like it.  :shocked:

I can understand the reason why. They don't want people to abuse the technology and just playing around on the computers, or going on sites like MySpace, etc. with a proxy (but it does happen anyway sometimes). Also, it can be used to troubleshoot a computer when he (the tech coordinator) can't come down to the classroom to fix it.

So I take it it's a school computer then? That's a little different.

What do you sell on ebay?

Anything I come across of value. I have a number of thrift and second hand stores nearby, and they quite frequently have very valuable items that sell very well on Ebay.

I use Total Recorder. Its simple and speedy. Just play the video and start recording with Total Recorder (or your program of choice).

Sellers at Amazon and eBay have older versions of software (both used and new).
