Everything Else TWC / Re: Will TWC Be Sold?

I'm certain they probably peek in here and there from time to time. But I must disagree with you about having nothing to worry about. I think we both should remain at least a little bit concerned. Because you know what, when it comes right down to it, it is extremely possible that they could ask our sites to shut down. And they don't have to have a reason.

I'm not saying anything will happen, and I certainly hope it doesn't. BUt I think we'd both be very stupid and irresponsible to completley dismiss and ignore the possiblity.

I'm currently having to re-image my Windows XP desktop computer with the built in recovery software which is on another partition of the hard drive, with an image of the Windows XP SP1 installation that the computer came with, because when I booted up the system this morning, it'd get almost to the logon screen, but it would go no further than the Windows XP logo. (It would do the same even in Safe Mode.) <_< It's going to be fun having to install 1 million Windows Updates after this gets through. :wall:

Oh I know how it feels to be in that boat. Although I'm not lucky enough to be able to restore from a backup partition. My hard drive went up in November, at which time I went to Wal-Mart to get a new one, and since then I've been to Wal-Mart 3 times returining dead hard drives that I've purchased there. I have to go there again tomorrow to take back another one. If I ever get a decent working drive I'll be amazed. I'm very close to demanding a refund instead of an exchange, because it seems that they simply don't sell working hard drives.  :P <_<

Hey, at least if Fox buys TWC, we won't hear any of the global warming crap anymore! :ninja:

GLOBAL WARMING .. *turns head* IS REAL  :thrilled: :ninja:

The major debate, however, is whether we have anything to do with it....
...And if it's real (which it isn't). Anyway, as I said on my site, the biggest issue here is whether or not the new owner will shut down sites like this.

Your right. You and I both need to be very concerned about that.  :ninja:

How is that bad management? They have to keep up with their growth.

I was gonna say the same thing, but well..you know..some things are better off left alone.  :P

No, I'm pretty sure they used to be a bit more lax in the earlier days, but as time as gone on and they have become more popular, they've had to tighten things.

The only person on TWCC that I know of who visited the TWC studios (besides the STAR team of course) was Jae. I believe you have to work at a company that is affiliated with TWC in some way in order to visit there.
Wow, whats with all the security?

Although it's unlikely, I'm hoping the hotel we're staying at in Denver will have another STAR.
Its possible Derek if you know the cable company. Kevin had a 4000 in NYC!

What's with the security is that there are lots of crazys and loonies out there, so they've got to keep things tight to prevent any of those crazys from doing any harm to anyone in the studio.
