There's other ways to become a met without the rigors of math. For example, you could become employed at TWC in some other capacity and then enter their apprentice program. The only requirement then is to go to college to obtain a Broadcast meteorology Certificate, which requires no math. This is the way Jeff Mielcarz is doing it, because he too is no good at math.

I've spoken with Matt and can confirm that the site is experiencing technical issues due to the fact that he moved it to the same server I'm on. He didn't go into detail though, so that's all I know for now.

I like seeing the site busy and all, but its a shame that it only happens when TWC goes down. But I don't get that, though, because for the most part TWCC's 2000-current boards seem to be roughly as active as this forum is.
