I'm getting the feeling CE is posting trash about us in the beta staff forum.

Oh I have no doubt that he is, and so are the rest of them. That's one reason I got RID of my admin-only section here. none of us have anything to hide, so there's no reason to give us a place to hide what we talk about. That group of admins over there (including Bill) are the most childish bunch I ever met.  But, as Matt once told me, there's no sense in getting bent out of shape over something you can't see anyway.

I am very happy to announce that I not only added a file upload field to the contact form, but I've also got it working right for a change. I've tested it with files as large as 21MB with no problems. Anyone who wishes to may now use this method for sending me files.  :sunglasses:

Alright, I've made the changes. The verify field is no longer there. However, I also noticed while looking through the code that several other fields were also incorrect, such as the recipient email address field (the e-mail address to which it sends messages), and the max file size field which I also fixed. So as a result of these issues, if you've attempted to send me a message with the contact form since the site came went back online after the data loss fiasco, I did not receive it. The max file size is now 30MB, which I felt would be sufficient for any audio or video file.

Thanks Steven for pointing that verify field out. If you hadn't, I don't know when I would've found the other problems!  :sunglasses:

Yep, that's the only thing I ever see him do too. I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming that maybe there's a valid reason for that, but its been going on for so long now that I'm losing faith in that.

Unfortunately Mike I have to agree with you. And I don't think it's totally the fault of the testers-its Bill's board, and I see him there very rarely. He needs to be around more often. After all, its his board and no one knows better than he does how he wants it moderated.

But before we move away from this topic, I would like to...PROCLAIM VICTORY!! yes, I got a warnnig, but poeckerhead got two because he didn;t heed Dan's warning. So that's a win for me as far as I'm concerned. 

You got a warning? I just read the whole argument, and I saw nothing you did wrong.

Simply being involved is what I did wrong.

Dan posted a warning that neither one of us was to post anything not relating to the thread, or we'd get a warning for each such post. I stayed quiet, but poeckerhead said something, and got a warning.
