General Discussion / Re: Baby-faced boy is father at 13 - The Sun
« on: February 13, 2009, 08:54:37 PM »
Alright, my two sense worth. First of all, when I took sex ed they taught contraception, not just abstinence. Not sure when that changed, but it shouldn't have. However, I also believe that abstinence should also be taught. IMO, teaching contraception to a bunch of horny teenagers is the equivalent of telling them to feel free to bang at will as long as they use a condom. Not cool.

I'm 23 and still not sure I'm ready to be a dad. And I also happen to be a virgin. I guess I'm one of the few guys that doesn't get with girls just to bang them.
There are some schools, not just catholic ones, that teach abstinence only sex education, mainly because parents get offended or something. I was lucky to have been taught sex ed with contraception. On another note, some schools let you be signed out of sex ed (exempt) by a parent. My school wouldn't allow that due to the fact that every week it's like someone else was walking around with a pregnant belly. I am one of the few guys that doesn't get with girls just to bang them for 2 reasons... 1) I respect them, 2) I happen to be gay :P ... but at any rate, the kid looks like he's 8.

LOL, see that, there's an advantage to being gay. You don't have to worry about impregnating a guy!  :D

General Discussion / Re: My Website
« on: February 13, 2009, 08:53:27 PM »
If anybody WENT to my website, there was a notice in the forums that stated it will be shutting down.  Obviously, my case was justified, as nobody read it

I'm very sorry to hear that you decided to shut down your site Dan. But I'm sure your stuff will find a home at TWCC (I'd ask ya, but I know your a good friend of Matt's).

Tragic indeed. IMO, given the conditions at the time, I'm not so sure that craft should've been allowed to fly.

TWC Today News / Topic Title Issue
« on: February 13, 2009, 08:41:41 PM »
I've noticed an issue, and its really starting to annoy me. When you post a reply in a thread, please DO NOT change the topic title. This is not only annoying, but utterly confusing as well. aside from that, there's just no need to do it.

Thanks for your cooperation!  B)

LOL, I don't get what people see in Steph. She's alright, but she's not the bombshell you all make her out to be.  :D

In fairness though, I suppose its a matter of opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say, I guess.  B)

TWC Today News / Re: Site News
« on: February 12, 2009, 08:08:04 AM »
I have decided to once again hide some boards from guests. The boards being hidden are all in the Weather Channel 2000-Present section of the forum. I'm taking this action because recently a TWCC member has been viewing our board as a guest (and in turn bragging about it on TWCC-smart move!) and then going back to TWCC and posting news topics found here. After the events of several months ago this is something I will NOT tolerate. I feel no obligation to TWCC, and I will not be their personal news source. If this issue continues, said member will be not only banned, but blocked entirely from our site. As will any other member that attempts this.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning here as well. And yes, it is rather rare. We had near record highs today. Also quite rare.  :D

We're not necessarily sure of that. No one can confirm whether she looked or sounded ill before she disappeared.

Wasn't necessary... I posted the translation.

Not sure that was necessary either. Has no one here heard the phrase "just drop it"?
