Just wondering, Gary, couldn't you hook a VCR up to your cable box via a composite or s-video cable and tape TWC tonight?

Yes, but then what would I do with the tape? Can you tell me how to get what I tape from the tape to the PC?

Hook up your VCR to your TV tuner, and play back the tape and hit record on your recording software.

I have no clue what I'm missing here. It seems very straight forward. 

Your not missing anything. I've just never done it before.

Gary, did they recently change that?  Or is that a Baltimore thing, because when I had Comcast, they had TWC on the analog tier (Channel 39)

TWC is still on the analog tier, at channel 62. I just can't get it with this crummy Family Package I subscribe to. Doesn't make sense to me that I can get it WITH a digital box, but not without. I guess that just goes to show how screwed up this package is.

Today: Cloudy with periods of rain or freezing rain. this afternoon. Cold. High 33. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 MPH. Chance of precipitation 70%.

Tomorrow: Rain. High near 50. S Winds shifting to NW at 10 to 20 MPH. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.

Thursday: Abundant sunshine. Highs in the mid 40's and lows in the mid 30's.

Well, I've got a somber day ahead of me tomorrow. A friend of mine and my family's died over the weekend and his viewing is tomorrow evening from 3-5. My mother and I will be attending on behalf of our family. I haven't been to a funeral home since 2003, when another very good friend of the family's (not to mention our next door neighbor) died.
