I downloaded that clip on my laptop and played it.

It promptly crashed Windows Media Player.   

VLC played it perfectly, though.  Absolutely beautiful.

Don't think of it as a waste, thing of it as an investment.

It is a waste if you don't plan on using it for professional use. You don't need a quad-core processor to perform everyday tasks.
